Gift from anonymous
Mr Emeka grew up in a family where they were trained to always give gifts, but there is something he never appreciated about his family and he decided to make a change once he became a man of himself.
While Emeka was growing up his father was a generous giver but he only gave to people who would always come and thank him and even do some form of worship and this made Emeka always upset with the father.
One day he decided to ask his father about such an attitude, Emeka asked his father "Dady why do you always want people to worship you just because you gave them gifts?" The father's response got him more upset, the father replied "That's what makes you a man, not just a man but a rich one because people will always be at your mercy"
Emeka walked out and didn't want to have anything to do with his father's prideful attitude.
Gradually Emeka finished schooling and got a well-paying job his father called him for a heart-to-heart discussion and he told Emeka to always help those in need because they will always be grateful to you, Emeka told his father "My gifts will always remain secret gifts, no will ever hear about it"
The father said "You have become an adult so make your choice"

Emeka's Secret gift.
December was approaching and Emeka had plans to give out some food items to the widows and those in need but he wanted it to be a secret gift
He went to meet the foodstuffs suppliers and he paid them money for items that would be enough for the people he had in mind, still thinking about how he could give the gift anonymously, after very long thought he decided to send someone to meet with the community chairman and inform him that someone will bring a gift to the community on an agreed date and he as well mentions the set of people that will get the gift, the chairman was curious to know who is the giver but the messenger told the chairman that he will get to meet the person on the day of bringing the gift.
Emeka was happy that he could give without someone telling him so much thank you, finally the day arrived, and a full truck of food items went to the community as Emeka instructed, the Residents gathered to receive the gift, and as well say thank you to the giver.
The widows got so much foodstuffs, the less privileged also got some foodstuffs and he also added some cash on envelopes for each one of them.
They were very happy and they were also anxious to see who showed them such kindness but Mr Emeka wasn't anywhere to be found, the people that brought the gift informed them that the giver wants to remain anonymous.
Mr. Emeka didn't stop there, the community was not able to pay for their children's school fees and there were so many dropout children who were selling things on the street, Mr. Emeka made a plan and sent them all back to school, he paid their school fees and also equipped both the school and the students and those children started enjoying education once again, this dumfounded the villagers because they were anxious to know who has been doing all this for them.
One day Mr. Emeka sent gifts to the community before then the community decided that they wouldn't accept gifts from Anonymous again, Mr Emeka sent a gift and the community residents told the delivery guy that they wouldn't accept the gift unless the giver showed his face, the delivery man called Mr. Emeka and informed him what the situation was like and how determined this residents are.
Mr. Emeka reluctantly came and the whole villagers were surprised because they had always known who the father was and how he loved obeisance whenever he gifts anyone.
"How come you are different?" The villagers asked.
"I never loved what my father was doing, so I decided to be the opposite of my father, I love giving when people will not have to thank me for anything I gave"
The villagers were very happy and they blessed him for being a different person from the family.
Interesting story! Many people give because they want people to be subjected to them. Emeka was different and yet a generous giver.
Most people love giving just to gain influence, while some only want their gifts to remain secrets.
Being the opposite of what your parents are is better, but it must come with a true heart.
Awww
That’s why I say sometimes that some people don’t end up being like their parents. The world would have been a better place if we have more people like Mr Emeka
