LMAC FreeStyle - Vulnerable
Dear Hive friends.
How's your day going? I hope it's been fantastic, and I wish you all the best always.
Today, I've been surfing the internet for some inspiration for my latest collage project. For me, checking out a few references and seeing what others have created can really get my creative juices flowing. Even though sometimes I dive into making collages without much planning, I've found that taking a look at other artists' work is always a good idea. It helps me see what I can learn from their work.
Here's my latest creation, with a bit of a different style. Lately, I've noticed I've been relying too much on effects in my collages, which ends up altering the original images too much. So, this time around, I'm keeping it simple by just sticking to elements from my sources without adding too many effects, except for playing around with colors to achieve a harmonious balance.
Hope you enjoy this collage!
Oh, and what do you think about me placing a sharp sword near a fragile, easily popped balloon? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. Feel free to drop any comments you have about my collage in the comment section. I'd really appreciate it.

Fascinating! I like this illustrative style. Would make a great cover for a manager magazine. Excellent symbolism.
Thank you for your appreciation! I'm so glad you love it. I strive to present interesting symbolism by featuring different styles. I will probably use this style more in the future in my collages.
👍
I think that's good! After all, a style is like a playground and we can wonderfully explore its edges and corners by concentrating on a specific one for a while.
I love the geometric lines and the letters are a trend in 2024, the design is minimalist and beautiful.
I have always read that one should have a style, but in my case I like to have several and experiment.
I agree, minimalist design does have its own charm.
About having a style, I believe that experimentation and flexibility are the keys to creative growth. I also do that, combining different styles and exploration can help to find what best suits our personality and expression.
I don't know about the symbolism, but it looks great, and I keep thinking of King Arthur and his sword :)
You really do 'speak' through your collages, @bayuismail
