Serving Goat Curry for Iftar Menu

After a few days ago we did a similar activity with a goat curry menu when breaking the fast together with our Ulama namely Abi Ja'far Sulaiman and for this afternoon we continued with a similar event because a servant of God came back with a goat that would donated for us which is the best practice in the holy month of Ramadhan.

And we will never be able to refuse alms given by anyone who is a servant of God.

While we also realize that in this month full of blessings, there are indeed so many servants of God who have softened their hearts to increase their almsgiving for their afterlife.

Right after Dhuhur prayer, I received a phone call from one of the teachers' councils or a foundation committee who informed me that someone had brought a goat that was donated to us to be used as our ifka fast menu. And he asked me to go to the foundation as soon as possible to try to process the goat.

After receiving the phone call while I headed to the location of the foundation to carry out together the process of processing the goat curry menu as the main menu for our iftar this afternoon.

The goat was immediately slaughtered and carried out the process of taking meat, bones and various other types for cleaning and so on until the kitchen.

Some other friends went to the market to buy curry spices and also spent all their other needs. And some others also carry out the process of cutting banana trees to get the innermost stems of banana hearts to be used as vegetables in this goat curry menu.

Now the meat, bones, vegetables and more are in the kitchen, and I am the master chef for this afternoon.

This humble kitchen has produced 2 lamb curries so far this year's fasting month. This means that there is no need for a fancy kitchen to produce curried mutton - provided that many of Allah's servants are willing to undertake this additional practice, and ensure that we are always ready to receive it.

In this blessed month, there is no food or drink that is allowed to taste a little in the mouth or in other words to try a little to find out how the food or drink that is being processed tastes like, that is not permissible at all.

So I sometimes don't want to do it, but I just try to smell the food or dish that is still being processed, and now I'm starting to research what the shortcomings of this dish are by examining the aroma of the dish - but it seems very solid and perfect..

Now it's almost done and the fire can be reduced so it doesn't muddy the meat too much.
