Tuesday Orange - Color challenge - Orange look.

When it comes to looking for orange elements that could lead to an Orange Tuesday post, the most common things to deal with are fruits, rust on metal or clothing, city lights, less often animal colors, and fall foliage.

Looking through photos from my photo archive, I stopped at one of the photos that I took at the zoo.

It was a photograph of the Emu, a large, black bird that looks like both an ostrich and a crow at the same time.

Not surprising, because some scientists believe that the emu is not a relative of ostriches, but of very aggressive cassowaries, which are best avoided.

The eyes of this bird are orange and look very aggressive.

Although there is some sadness in this look, perhaps at this moment the emu remembers something about the time when he was free and ran across the expanses of Australia in a race with kangaroos.
