PHOTO of the DAY - Morning in a birch grove.

I stopped the car near a small birch grove in the early morning.

The smell of mushrooms brought me there.

No, I couldn't smell it while driving a car, rather, I could smell a mixture of gasoline, gas, motor oil and air freshener dangling from a thread on the rearview mirror, but, my brain pushed it all aside and recreated in my head is the magnificent smell of autumn mushrooms that hide under the fallen leaves.

I went to the grove through a very wet, swampy meadow painted in autumn colors.

The fog covered the crowns of the trees, it was very beautiful and quiet.

That day I did not find any mushrooms, but my collection was replenished with new photographs of magnificent nature in the arms of autumn.
