PHOTO of the DAY - Direction of movement.

Today, looking through photographs from my photo archive, I accidentally remembered one incident that happened to me in the Odessa region of Ukraine.

Once, on my way from Odessa to Moldova, I had to cross the customs post, but for this I had to cross the bridge, which was destroyed. I looked for detours on the map and, not finding anything consoling, I decided to ask the locals how to get from Mayakov to Kuchurgany. For what I saw was a very large arc, many extra kilometers.

One elderly man showed me the way, telling me where to go and where to turn off.

You know, sometimes it's better to drive extra kilometers than to take shortcuts and listen to other people's advice, the road was so broken that a mining truck could be hidden in the pits.

A similar thing happened in the neighboring swamps when I asked the gardener which path I could take to civilization, lol.

He showed me the direction where I had to go, as it turned out, the whole path was a solid swamp under my feet, between these two fences and the whole path was overgrown with bushes.

But, there is a positive side to this, I experienced a huge surge of happiness when I got out of the swamps into clean land.
