Pencil drawing 2024.03.07- Righteous work.

The drawing I want to show you today is my attempt to depict what we all call the phrase - Righteous Labor.

People may have different ideas about this I base this on what I have learned read the Bible and what I imagine in terms of understanding this aspect or concept.

There was a time when everything that was necessary for a person was available to him by grace without the need to exert effort, for example in order to satisfy his hunger or thirst it was enough to reach out to a ripe fruit, but this was in paradise.

And, after being expelled from paradise, people had to work hard to feed themselves or to improve their home.

Even taking into account the fact that man sinned God divided man's labor into unrighteous and righteous labor.

Unrighteous work is built on deception and easy money in all its manifestations and righteous work is valuable for its fruits that gradually ripen on a cultivated field or in the gradual growth of animals in your herd that you diligently care for.

Thinking about this I gradually drew what I wanted to see in graphite that lay on the surface of a white sheet of paper.

I used graphite pencils of varying degrees of hardness or softness, as you wish.

As I said in my previous posts about drawings I am not the best portrait artist and it is quite difficult for me to draw people, but when the matter requires it I do it.

Working on fruits, in this case on the texture of the pumpkin is much more interesting to me.

Working on the surrounding landscape is a bit like a routine, but when everything goes as it should it is an interesting activity.

There were moments when I stopped working and switched my attention to something else in search of inspiration.

Sometimes I have moments when it seems to me that I have chosen too difficult a task for myself and this work will never end but thank God for strength He gave me the opportunity to understand when the work will be completely finished and I was able to put the pencils on the table.

Why was it so easy for the scientist to learn how to make glass from lizards?
It was clear from the gecko.

Greetings @barski ,

Lovely work...the perspective really makes a difference here...the idea, the execution, the presentation of the post...just lovely...Well done.

God answers our prayers....His strength and wisdom is what we wish for our lives therefore part of our posts...and we seek His help to do His will...He knows best.

Kind Regards, Bleujay

NB

So far I have read three of the past posts of Genesis....quite well done really...Abraham and the pyramid...communicated , Abraham and the Abyss was like you said a bit of a fog and still communicated, and the Noah with the Ark communicated...I appreciate the finely executed drawings mixed with the artistic photographs...all very well done...I would not change a thing. Your post reminded Bleujay of this saved photo....

Thank you very much @bleujay, it is very nice to know that the Word I read, in my imagination acquired some material shell in the form of a drawing, if I may say so. I have seen quite a few images of the ark by different artists and master carpenters, but I wanted to be original in this matter and I decided to try to design an ark that does not look like these pictures.
