My Journey Through the Graphite World - Genesis Chapter 15 - God's promises to Abraham

My late grandfather used to say that a good book should definitely have pictures but he was an atheist and did not read the Bible I think that his idea of a good book would have changed because the pages of the Bible and every word are filled with visual images that arise in the process of reading.

However there is nothing wrong if the one who reads the Holy Scripture sees some images that can help to imagine this or that event but the picture of each artist which shows biblical times is a purely personal opinion of the artist, and not an iron truth therefore relying on pictures as a foundation in understanding God's Word is not worth it.

Drawing another illustration to a chapter of the Bible I show you only my idea of the moment that I read what I see and perceive.

It is good if the picture is really close to your heart and it will lead you further on the path of knowing God's wisdom and not lead you astray.

Another illustration that I have drawn on paper using a graphite pencil shows us my vision of the very inspiring in all respects fifteenth chapter of the Book of Genesis.

People are ready to believe in different things in financial pyramids in crypto in the sweet words of various kinds of scammers who promise health and financial well-being but at the same time they will make a small addition in small print about the disclaimer of responsibility but not each of them will easily believe what God tells them.

You know this chapter says that God promised Abraham and hundred-year-old Saara who did not have children that their offspring would be more numerous than the number of stars in the sky.

Abraham accepted this promise and Saara mocked him everything is like in ordinary life.

But you know that Saara's firstborn from Abraham was born at the age of one hundred.

God's promise is always responsible to the one to whom it refers.

Very often our faith is like an old house that is about to collapse.

So, I drew Abraham who accepts God's promises into his heart.

He must have been very inspired at that moment.

Faith is a fragile thing that can turn into a crumpled tin can at any moment it can be difficult to preserve it but if it is promised by God you can be sure that you will pass through all trials as a winner.

Such thoughts helped me fill a white sheet of paper with graphite not the worst information carrier.

My collection of drawings continues to grow and I would really like not to lose strength and inspiration for further work.
