Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 10/17/2023 - Issue - No.37
Sometimes what we call the word “beauty” can be very strange incomprehensible but attractive for unknown reasons.
I don’t know how to correctly characterize the small twig that floated on the surface of the puddle in order to accurately explain what exactly caused my delight when I looked at it through the lens of my camera.
But it was beautiful.
Each individual element looks more than modest but the play of light and shadow reflections on the surface of the water of a dirty puddle and smooth waves on the surface of the water created exactly what can be called the word beauty.
Yes it is somewhat abstract, but I’m not sure that we don’t live in a world where everything we see is abstract but we are already accustomed to some things and some things become new impressions for us.

I’m not surprised by anything, because in the Netherlands they eat rotten herring, and in the tundra they eat fermented venison, which should rot when buried in the ground, this is no less strange :)

Oh yes, some here to eat raw meat, including wild pig. Ano ate a raw mongoose one time many years ago. That didn't go well. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
The West Indian company gave the island delicious mongooses, but they didn’t take into account your taste preferences... it’s sad, lol. Yes, the mongoose is a predator and I don’t know if there are any predators walking on the earth, except bears, that are eaten :)

It's funny about the Indian mongoose, they were brought in to eat rats. The oniy problem with that is that rats are nocturnal, mostly only coming out at night, and mongooses are diurnal, coming out only during the daytime. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
The situation is similar in Jamaica, the mongooses ate all the snakes and spiders there, but about the rats... I don’t remember what the situation is with the rats, but I haven’t heard that they eat mongooses in Jamaica, usually they cook Jerky chicken there :)

The rats are probably quite happy, and yes, given Ano's experience eating raw mongoose, I can't say that it would be the most amazing food source. Chicken jerky sounds much more enjoyable. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
I will not be mistaken if I say that rats are more nutritious than mongoose, given that rats are relatives of the rabbit, and the mongoose is most likely a distant relative of the dog, although the Koreans and Chinese may consider my version unviable, because they do not mind eating a dog . In addition, I remember one post by an author from Nigeria where he showed rats selling rats in markets and rats were in great demand in the food market as a source of protein. :)

I completely agree with you, especially since chitin and the protein of most insects are the strongest allergens, people will quickly begin to lose their kidneys and arms, the same thing that happens to avid aquarists who often use daphne to feed fish :)
