Digitl art - Unicorn
Over the last few weeks I have been posting about my drawings that I have done with a graphite pencil on regular paper.
But sometimes you need to make some digressions and what preceded my passion for graphite was drawing with a ballpoint pen and drawing in photo editors over photographs which is now called the fashionable word digital art.
But, in fact the digital work that I do on a photograph is not much different from regular drawing since I do everything by hand. I only change the tools and usually it is drawing stretching and deformation.
In part it is similar to modeling from plasticine, but instead of plasticine I deform the image of the original photograph.
Let's now look at one of my works.
So, I decided to depict a unicorn using only those colors that were present in a very poor photograph which would otherwise immediately end up in the trash bin.
This photo seems ruined, it's a shelf with chocolate in a supermarket but I needed exactly this photo for working on the unicorn and the magical forest where it lives.
From the light areas of the chocolate wrappers I was able to form the body of the unicorn.
And the colored areas made it possible to form a colorful magical forest.
It remained to work on the brightness and contrast of the image and the picture quite surreal from chocolate was ready.
