The Complex Search for Optimal Solutions in Gardening and Vegetable Gardening that's how I'll title this post.

Speaking about the complexity of finding optimal solutions in gardening and vegetable gardening I want to remember one old Kazakh comedy film that I saw about forty years ago.

This film consisted of many independent comedy plots similar to jokes and in one of the plots the hero decided to dig a deep hole in his garden.

But there was one problem it was necessary to take the dug soil somewhere and he quickly realized that he needed to dig another deep hole nearby where he could dump the soil from the first hole.

Sometimes the desire to optimize work in your garden can look like this a comical way.

Optimization of work and reduction of labor costs are good in any business and help us see such a thing as margin as a result.

The more costs, the less margin if you are not able to sell the result of your labor super expensive.

So, as you already know I have been thinking about creating a living fence of trees around my garden.

And in principle it is not difficult to do, but it may turn out to be the second hole that I dig in my garden.

Any trees even a hedge require care and in the autumn I will have to remove fallen leaves.

But here too everything is ambiguous on the one hand, this is extra wasted time that I can spend on more important things, but, on the other hand fallen leaves can serve as mulch filler for warm beds and a component of compost and there will be no need to buy ground cover materials such as polyethylene film and agrofibre.

It is very difficult to make a choice in one direction or another.

Fortunately I now have time to think and weigh all the pros and cons of this venture.
