A difficult balance between the garden and the trees around it.
Some decisions made if they were made by mistake, are difficult to correct such as selling bitcoins bought at one dollar for 15 dollars each.
A similar case could be the wrong choice of trees that you decide to plant around the perimeter of your garden to protect crops from the wind and create shady areas to protect some crops on too hot days.
Another benefit is a hedge just in case, but it is better to get a dog from uninvited guests.
So, tomatoes and cucumbers, peppers and eggplants can be planted in the shaded area knowing that there will be shade there during peak hours of solar activity.
But what trees will not harm these crops this is what I am trying to figure out for further implementation.
If we talk about a hedge quite high, then cypresses and thujas come to mind but how they will affect garden plants is a huge question for me.
Another option is a newfangled plant or what is called a tree paulownia.
In fact although paulownia looks like a tree it is probably a grass because paulownia is a relative of beans.
And, since paulownia is a bean its root system will enrich the soil with useful nitrogen.
In addition paulownia grows quickly and its wood is highly valued.
But there is a downside paulownia loves water very much and it needs to be watered or drip irrigation should be arranged.
Somehow I don’t want to concentrate my attention and labor on the hedge this topic is still open for me.
