We shouldn't believe everything in movies

I'm done believing movies, they make life feel so easy and magical. Don't get me wrong, I'm a lover of movies especially when it has to do with romance and comedy. Like for real, let's talk about the most popular romantic scene where a girl is always returning either from work or an errand and then, boom it starts raining and a guy walks up to her not minding others, covers her with an umbrella and they kiss. This scene always made me wanna go outside when it rains hoping for a prince charming to come cover me up with his jacket or an umbrella but instead i was covered with cold and my cloths all wet lol. But it never happened why? Coz it's FAKE.

And then you talk about the scene where a girl in college and a handsome young guy collides and her books fall on the ground and in the process of picking them up, they look into each other's eyes and fall in love. Come on, do you know how many times I've purposely collided with a guy and threw my books down in the university and they just end up saying sorry without picking up the books or looking at me😹.

Gosh, like seriously, we need to stop believing movies they are fake fake fake. I won't forget when I went to the field with food to feed the ant and was begging them to make me small like they did to ant man so I can be an ant lady lol, or when I always sat on a broom when everyone left the house thinking I'll be able to fly. As a kid, after watching small soldiers, I'll always keep a hidden camera focused on my toys to see if they would make a move.

I recently found out that, the almighty titanic that I love, a movie that made me cry so much was acted in a swimming pool. For real? A swimming pool?. I give up😹.

Indeed movies are not to be believed or taken to heart. Right now, I only watch them to pass out and time or when everyone keeps talking about particular one. I can understand and believe that dinosaur's aren't real or exist but you can't tell me that I won't be turned to a spider lady if I should get bitten by a spider right? Like three men have been turned to spiders having just one encounter.

One very funny thing about these movies are their inconsistency, I watched a movie where a ship capsized and some persons drank the ocean water and didn't die, and in another movie, with same scene they died coz they drank the water. Now what am I gonna do if I'm cut up in this kinda scenerio.

I once watched a movie a man fell into a lion's den and was just talking to the lions like "calm down now, just be calm lion, I'm just gonna leave" and the lion just sat down and he was rescued. Are you kidding me 😹 even if it's a dog, you'll get bitten for real talk more if a lion. My dear hive friends, movies Sacre me these days.

I'll just have to keep watching movies coz of the fun...lol

Thanks for reading, commenting and reblogging guys☺️

When I was a kid, there was a cartoon about two superhero squirrels who sang that if you were in trouble, they would come and save you. Well, I spent my whole childhood waiting for them to come. 😂
Now seriously, the film industry is a dream factory, isn't that the most elegant definition of it.
And it really is. It makes you dream... of things that don't exist. I absolutely share your opinion. And your disappointment. Because these romantic movies never happen in real life. And this is just another fiction that makes people have vain hopes for their lives in the future.

Indeed, a dream industry fits the definition of the movie industry today....very funny how so many persons if not all grew up with fake thoughts 😹

You are very right, alot of things we see on movies are actually not real when it comes to reality, and I have known that long ago.

It all depends on the type of movies. There are films for all kinds of audiences, those who just want to escape from reality for a couple of hours and enjoy something entertaining, which makes them forget their own problems.

but, for example, cinema is a great tool that can be used at an educational level and there are also films that can be used for social denunciation.

There is a Korean movie, I don't remember the name, a user reviewed it some time ago, where a real case of abuse is addressed and thanks to that movie, a movement in that country exerted pressure and created a law to protect children from abuse.

There are films that are necessary to record historical facts that new generations should not forget. They are part of our historical and cultural memory.

Cinema is entertainment, but it is also culture. Everything is in knowing what to watch, in searching and selecting films that are not only about superheroes and fantasy. It all depends on the viewer, on what they want to see and what they are looking for. But cinema is really very important, as well as literature, painting and any other means of artistic expression.

You have to stop watching only what Hollywood and Netflix do and look for other types of cinema.
