Parental relationship

Good day great hive minds ☺️, it's a fresh day with lots of blessings to be showered on us all and I thought of sharing this little piece of mine with all my friends here on hive titled parental relationship .

 Family is one of the most essential aspect of life of humans and even animals as it is where we are shown love, appreciation, kindness and also learn the basics of what keeps us going, growing and stronger. Family has to do with togetherness, relationship and trust but sometimes, some persons find it hard to interact deeply with family maybe because of the foundation of relationship they have as a family.

Yesterday, my neighbors first daughter who is 12 years of age came to me in tears saying she's injured and she doesn't know how or when it happened. I asked her where and when she showed me, I found out that she just saw her first menstrual flow as a woman and she was stained. I had to bring her Inside cleaned her up and did the necessary. 
I decided to find out why she didn't tell her parents this at first especially her mum and she said she's scared that her mum will beat her for getting injured as she always did on every little issue even the ones that needed words of advice. This got me thinking on the kind of relationship some parents have with their kids. 

Some children make mistakes because they didn't have parents they could speak to, they either met bad friends or accept advice from social media.
I'll say that I'm partially a victim to this as I wasn't very close to my Mum, I grew up to be scared of my mum beacuse she was this strict Nigerian parent who never hesitates to discipline you . But as time went on, she realized that I couldn't speak out on some issues that bothered me and she corrected herself as she would talk to us more than just flogging and beating alway. She would always preach and pray with us every day inorder to guide us with love.

Mothers are the ones likely to spend more time with their children as fathers could be preoccupied with supplying the financial needs of the family.
The female offspring are fragile and are likely to have great influence if not provided adequate attention and care. This also goes fir the male offspring as they can be influenced greatly by friends.
No matter how busy you are as a parent, always make out time for your children.

Whatsoever you don't educate and teach your children will be initiated into them by the society, and this can be positively or Negatively.
You can Discipline your child and also makes friends with them at the same time. You don't need to pass your aggression on them. Avoid the past too, because your parents didn't treat you right doesn't mean you will do same to your children.

Lastly, raise your children with the fear of God. Howa you teach your kids matters a lot and will say a lot as they get older.
What you put into them is what they portray out there.

This doesn't go for parents only, we as elder siblings, should look out for younger ones, don't always try to be the hard one always.
