My little achievements for the year♥️☺️🎆🎉

Time flies so fast, we are finally in the last month of the year which i literally remember when it started in January

The year 2022 has really been a rough, busy and stressful year with lots of challenges that came along side with it.

The year started off with me being unable to return to school and Continue my education because of the Asuu strike in Nigeria federal schools, and with the fear I'd not wanting what happened the last time to happen again,(staying at home for a year and doing nothing) i decided to work for my money and learn a skill. Finding a job was quite hard as i had to apply at so many places but was rejected due to the fact that I'm a student under the strike and i can quite my job anytime the strike is called off.
I finally found a job at a bookshop as an accountant. I worked in the bookshop for 7 months and I'm still amazed as to how i was able to be active for that long not minding the wicked rules and regulations.

People always say that, "experience is the best teacher" and indeed, i have been thought a very big lesson that i guess made me stronger emotionally, mentally and physically. Difficult times are part of the human existence but we must keep pushing all the way. Permit me to say that, i achieved being a better me this year.

Working In a place where you're not allowed to use your phone at any point in time,

Where you can't eat more than 2 times in a day,

Where no one is allowed to visit or say hi to you,

Where you're always monitored for no reason at all,

Where you can't talk or interact with your colleges,

Where you don't have any right to express how you feel or say what's on your mind.

Yes, that was where i found myself, i really didn't believe I'll be able to do it but i did because, i had a plan, i wanted a skill and i needed the funds for it so, i was ready fir the worst which actually came😹 but I'm happy i passed through it.

After my 7 months working as a slave in the name of an accountant, i decided to quite and learn a skill. Now this was where i found difficult because, i had little ideas of so many things and i didn't know which to be perfect on. It took a while though but then i decided to learn makeup and i can say that I'm happy i learnt makeup because, firstly, it fetches me enough money ( that the whole aim na) secondly, i love what I'm doing, i feel happy doing it and it make work easier for me and thirdly, I'm good at what i do( that pride lol). The place i learnt my job was so nice and i made amazing friends, everyone especially my boss was lovely....always bringing food for everyone and making us smile.

I'll count being a member of hive as one of my achievements this year, i was able to find something interesting and earning to do while in school and not just read, read, read all the time. I've met amazing content creators like @erikah and read educating write-ups which i apply to my daily life from hive. I'm so greatful to @blacktarri for showing me This amazing place

This year, i worked really hard to do things on my own without depending on anyone. And I'm very proud of myself.
I can't really list down all my achievements but I'm happy i was able to do three(3) things
1). Learn a skill
2). Be on hive
3). Achieved my goal of talk less and listen more.
I learnt so many things from listening this year and i got some favorite lines too....

Before you spend earn
Before you pray forgive
Before you love hate
Before you hurt feel
Before you speak you listen
Before you write think( this was because of hive though)
And try before you quite.
