How I easily ease stress

Sometimes, life isn't always filled with merry and joy, it's not a bed of roses for anyone. There are times when things go as planned and other times, it hits us out of nowhere. But we all hope for good days than the bad days. These days everyone tries their best to struggle for themselves to live a better life as there is no food for a lazy man. And with all these, stress creeps in.

Stress is a natural thing in everyone's life starting from the paid (from work) and unpaid jobs we do for both ourselves and family like cooking, cleaning, taking care if childr n or siblings and the rest. Last week, I got a 3 days appointment which made me leave as early as 5am every day and I got to see some bus drivers loading their vehicles and all I could do was imagine the stress these men go through everyday waking up this early and closing late at night. I imagined how stressful this kind of life is but they keep doing it as they have no choice but to learn to cope with it.

I've tried working at home instead of going out thinking it will ease the stress but I guess they're all same. But they're things we can do to help eas us from more stress.

Sleeping
It may be weird on how I emphasize on sleeping but what can I do, it's a vital aspect of our lives that people tend to neglect with different excuses especially work, and depriving ourselves of sleep can deteriorate our body system. The last time I deprived myself of sleep for almost 40 hours because of an exam didn't end well as I fell seriously I'll and I found it hard to write the exam I stressed myself for hard to write.

Sleeping improves our immune system, strengthen our hearts and improves our memories. It's an essential part of life that we can't ignore as it can be dangerous to our health.

Sometimes when I'm watching a movie and get sleepy, I try to fight sleeping maybe because of my interest in the movie but I always loose. And when I feel mentally stressed out, I try to sleep which helps a long way because I wake up feeling better.

Food
"My mum will always say that I live to eat while others eat to live"😹. I grew up with the mindset of eating whenever I was hungry therefore, I don't have a limit as to the number of times I can eat in a day but maybe if I should count, it should be up to 5 or 6 times especially when I'm happy 😁.
I just can't do without food which is undoubtedly one of the beat ways to ease stress. Eating has it's way of rebooting my system and replenishes any energy lost.

There was once a time I felt really depressed in school because I couldn't cover up on some things I wanted to. This even made my facial expression read sadness but then I thought to myself, how about a nice yummy box of pizza and pop up?
Very funny but immediately I ate, with the tasty meal passing through my throat with satisfaction, I realized I didn't have to worry too much as i was just hungry and was over thinking 😹. (Though I still had to go back to cover up everything I had to lol).

Music
This is the best and easiest part of easing stress. At this point of my life, I literally can't do house chores without music, I can't read properly without music too. Music has a way if getting and understanding your feelings. Celine Dion is a lady that makes my heart melt when I'm stressed l. Her songs and her melodious voice send shivers down my spine😩how i wish I could meet her one day...☺️

The sort of music I choose to listen to determines my mood for that moment. I can choose to dance all day and at night, I'm just calm and in another world entirely, the world of dreams and fantasy, that is the power of music😍

We all have just one life so, let's try our best to make it easier for our betterment.

Food? Tell me about it. 😂
For me it works in the following way: when I am stressed I don't have much appetite, but the happier I am, I eat more. 🤣 Currently, I enjoy so much in food, seems I am happy and also food makes me happy. What a circle :D

Hi @barryjennifer! I really liked this post and I agree with you very much. I for one am convinced that our well-being as human beings is guaranteed if we strongly raise awareness of the importance of respecting the biological functioning of our body.
