Effects of computers and how to cope with it
Every aspect of life today as has a digital representative which is most times without doubt much more efficient than any non digital substitute. We are now in the modern era of technologies l so, many things have become easier starting from communication and transportation unlike when people had to send mails and trek for days to spend time with their loved ones or for businesses.

But that doesn't mean that we can't plan life without digital help but it has made life much more easier, better and more comfortable. Now, people can make calls and send text messages across continents right in the corner of their rooms and travel under few minutes on what would have taken hours. What could be more lovely?.
It may be silly but I've accepted th fact that I'm addicted to my computers. So addicted that my mum literally feels upset when she sees me with my phone lol. I see my phone as my companion as there's always something to do with it. I remember this one i was washing and while playing some music with my phone, it fell into the soapy bucket of water and went off. I felt like I was in a dream as I didn't know if I should cry or be calm. I was advised to literally bury my phone Into a bowl of raw rice as rice absorbs water overnight. That whole night, I wasn't comfortable at all, I was tempted on some occasions to go check on it but I just had to leave it and obey the instructions I got. The following morning, I tried turning it on and everything was fine. At that moment, I felt a burden leave my soul😹. Though everything was fine, I became extremely careful as the waiting moment wasn't funny to me.
But there is nothing with advantages that won't have disadvantages but i would say the advantages of computer is more than the disadvantages.
On the advantages, It's easy to fall in love, and create unexpected bond with both strangers and lost friends through messages, calls and video calling them on your computer.
It's easier to get needed information online, learn new things, work very comfortably from home and earn sustainable money for your family via online. Listing all the advantages of computer won't be able as they are just too many. But the problem is that, we get too addicted and dependent to our computers and this creates room for disadvantages that and ends up affecting us.
Like I said earlier, I'm addicted to my computers but this has made me pay for it greatly as I almost lost my eyesight. I'll say this was due to the light from the screen of my phone and laptop. It got to a point where I had to squint to be able to see written things and my eyes where always teary and swollen. It led to me getting medicated glasses which I hate so much but have no choice right now. Here are some things we can do to avoid this effect.
1). Proper use of screen light:
Most persons feel like they won't see anything if the brightness of the screen light isn't up to 100% but this isn't advisable as it can damage your eyes. Staring at such brightness for too long I can say is what made me this way today.
Focusing on your screen light in dark rooms is an easier way to get the eyes damaged. I was adviced by my doctor to switch the lights on when using my computers so, my eyes won't only be focused on the light coming from one direction.
2). Take a rift:
In as much as we need to use our computers and don't want to leave it alone as it has most of the answers to what we need for business and the fun we have through it on social media, we should at least take a break from it. Sometimes when you use your phone or laptop to an extent, it gets hot. Wh n this happens, it simply mean we should drop them for a while but this is like the most difficult part of using a computer is hich we need to obey.
3). Try to sleep:
I really don't find a reason why some persons wouldn't wanna do this, this feels like heaven lol. Sleeping at night or taking a nap is an essential part of our life's and that's why it's there. Sometimes, I spend all my nights on assignments typing but as I still need to o sleep even if it's in the morning as nature can't be cheated. Sleeping helps our brains, body and eyes function properly and when you feel any strain or pain in your eyes due to staring at your computers for too long, sleep for a while and when you wake up, you'll be better than before you slept

Screen time should be limited as it can have serious health consequences. Eyes need test as well and there's no excuse at this.
