Warrios milking (color)
Hello to all!
Last post was talking about milking of camels in Rendille village of Ngurunit (Northern Kenya) in black and white: Warriors milking.
I love black and white, but I want to show you also the beautiful colors of these scenes.
Rendille warriors take milk from camels early in the morning.
Their dedication to the duty is total:
Here they are going to camels with a wooden milk basket:
And here they milking:
Life here is like to be on another planet.
I specially love the following picture, took behind the back of the camel:
I love the clouds in background crossing the head of the child.
How child leans on the camel symbolize how important for food sustainability are these animals: they are the true richness here.
Children help a lot:
At the end, milk is collected by elder women, to feed all the community.
Pictures taken with Sony Alpha7iii.
August 2023.
This milk is so fresh and the way of the Rendille people are beautiful and so natural.
I really love how the Rendille people live in simplicity, fresh milk, no preservatives, no additives, everything is so natural. It's all so beautiful.

They must have really been doing a great job milking the milk out
These people are very hardworking and are living their lives on the streets by working very hard, so we must help such people.

Amazed to seen they are using wooden buckets for collected of camel's milk. All pictures are nice and unique.
Thank you! I wish to have that wooden bucket for my museum!
Collecting a milk can really be tedious most of the time actually
