Possotomé - Child in the shadow

Possotomé, Benin.

Around the great lake (see Possotomé - Fishing reflection) there are many villages, with some markets and farms.

It was very hot and the sun was high in the sky.

I liked this scene: a children sit under a wall, and the leg and the stick the child took in his hand seemed to follow the crack extension.
Faded red colors of the wall was a perfect background too, with all possible gradations

A woman was selling some fruits in the shadow.
Life here is slow, following natural rhythms.
On the wall, a phone number and a written: Maison Alouer (house for rent).
