Concordia camp - Moonson time

(Edited)

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes

Concordia camp (Karakorum, northern Pakistan), under Gasherbrum IV, Broad Peak and K2.
After a sunny day, moonson arrived suddenly, so we had four rainy days. Over 5000 meters snow came, changed color on walls and mountain, but at 4500 meters high, only cold rain and low temperature.
We were on a huge glacier. Most of the glacier was covered by stones as you can see, but some beautiful and icy peaks were visible.

We stayed in the tents, sleeping and waiting for the sun.
Sometimes, sunrays appeared suddenly, created magic effects with low clouds and fog, and I was excited for the wonderful light, excellent specially for black and white. After some respite, rain came again.

Here our tents (blue ones), porters tent (red) and the tent for guides/cooker/lunch (the greatest ones).

During one of these nights, it started to rain at evening and it rained all the night and the next morning. We heard some shouting during night: mules had left the camp, looking for some food (grass) in some faraway place, so some porters left the camp too, to find them, and during the way back they got lost, so they screamed hoping to hear the voice of the companions, to find again the camp in the darkness.
Here another porters tent/refugee:

Again in the our wet tent.
I felt an hostile Nature, as it didn't want us to stay in this place...

Pictures taken with Nikon D800, 70-200 F4 lens and Sony Alpha 7iii.
