Concordia camp - Ground and lightness

(Edited)

Hello to all!
It is my first post in this group, and I like its philosophy!
Photography is an Art, and I'm looking for a place where we can talk about it, sharing feeling, technics and point of view about world. As Wim Wenders said, photography doesn't show only reality, but also create a silhouette of the soul of the person who takes the shot.

I will keep on with pics and story about my last travel on Baltoro glacier, Karakorum region, northern Pakistan.

Here I was in Concordia camp, and the weather was bad. This region is protected by monsoon, but sometimes rain arrives and it can last for days. In these rainy day, we had time to rest, walking around the camp, and take pics to foggy landscape and porters life.
I saw this group of porters on a hill, I took my camera (with 200mm mounted), and I started to shot. After a while, some birds started to fly around them. I liked the contrast between ground/mountain, and the lightness of birds flight.

Pictures taken with a Nikon D800 camera, 70-200 F4 lens.
August 2022.

Thank you!
Yes same feeling, these landscapes seems to come from another planet. Also atmospheric phenomena around and under 8000 metes mountains are different, stronger, strange and most beautiful. In this region we stayed at Concordia camp (4500 meters) under K2, Broad Peak, and the group of Gasherbrum.

Hello, friend @barnabo73

Extraordinary place to gather a philosophical group. Really, no one will be able to interrupt the process.

The photography is splendid.

I congratulate you.

I loved your publication.

Best regards

Stunning captures, the surroundings stand out for sure. But the people tell the story.
Thanks for sharing with us. 👋🏻
