I have been scanning drawings that are about 25 years old, like this one. Around that time I received a gift from an aunt that was a box with oil pastels, pencils, and many other things and it was my first time using oil pastels. I loved it instantly.
Using pastels is like painting and drawing at the same time and the results that can be achieved are so varied and interesting.
