Elagin Palace

There is an Oil meadow under my feet (it is forbidden to enter it, but I can fantasize with the zoom on the camera), and in front is the Elagin Palace in the rays of the blinding sun. Not the best light for architectural photography, especially if the building is white. But I love the sunlight, it's alive.

What's on the left? It's also a beautiful building, but it didn't fit into the frame.

And this is the kitchen building. Under the tsars, treats and dinners were prepared here. And so that the smells of food do not penetrate the green lawn (Oil meadow), there is not a single window in this direction. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail.

And, of course, the protection of the palace and the royal personages. And so that the guard does not sleep, a ball is put under his paw. Try to sleep now.

For this "portrait" the background is unfortunate, but I liked the shadow entangled in the lion's mane.
