Splinterlands - My Season end rewards after years

After a few years, I started playing splinterlands this month. I did spend a lot of time understanding how the game has changed and what the new perks look like. I liked how the game has changed and the rewards are also pretty decent I would say. The more we play, we should be able to earn more from the game. With some extra DEC spent in the game, we will also be able to get some extra energy that can be used to play more.

One thing I don't understand is when I get more RP after winning and sometimes the RP I get is very less. I don't understand what the criteria are for that. Sometimes the value is close to 10k and sometimes the value is not even 600. I was wondering if it would differ based on the type of summoner and other cards I choose but looks like it was changing from time to time. I still don't know if the time of the game was one of the reasons to see different values.

The rewards are now in the form of two types of chests. One is the focus chests that we can get every day and another is the season chests we can get once a season. Based on the focus points and the season points we accumulate by playing games, we are eligible for the chests. Sometimes the points would be in my favor and by just playing a few games, I should be able to get a few additional chests. But sometimes the points may not be in my favor and I would end up getting fewer points and it can take a lot of time to move the progress bar.

I opened a total of 64 season chests today. It is always a fun-filled experience to open the reward chests. I have to admit that it is one of the interesting things about this game and I like that the most. Every chest we open gives us some excitement. I was able to pull a few rare cards from the chests and at the same time I was also able to pull some normal cards too. Other things were quite normal and usually, potions that are not very useful for me and some tiny SPS rewards.

I was keeping my SPS power precisely at 100k and after I started claiming the SPS rewards, the number started changing because the rewards are given as staked SPS tokens. Though it is very little, I would say there can be an instance when I might open up a huge amount of SPS. This has happened to me before when DEC used to be the reward. By the way, I also observed that the SPS rewards we get by playing the game are no longer a thing. Maybe we can get lucky and sometimes it can be inside a chest but otherwise, not every game gives SPS like before if I'm not wrong.

I still remember playing during the start of a new month that used to give a lot of DEC as rewards. I have to admit that only with all those things, I was able to create a decent deck for myself.
