Relaxing the mind can make us lazy

(Edited)

Sometimes we are so workaholic that we don't realize we are burning out. We can start harming our body if we work more than our potential. Our mental health can get affected. Relaxing and reducing stress is very important, but too much of anything is not good for your health. When we relax too much, we might also end up becoming lazy. They say a small amount of stress is significant for our brains to function normally. If we don't stress our brains, they will not be doing the right things. Finding a balance between stress and relaxation is the right way to go.

Reducing the stress levels

Stress is a major reason for many illnesses. There is currently no alternative for reducing stress levels. If we are stressed out, we have to calm down a bit to regain the energy we lost. There are so many things that we can do to calm the mind and reduce the stress levels. When I had anxiety issues, I followed a specific breathing exercise, that helped me reduce the stress. I did not get any results in just one day but continuously, when I was doing that for several days, I was able to see a good result.

We can be sharp and think more when we have less stress. A stressful mind finds it hard to think and take the right decisions. Some people use Yoga or meditation to reduce their stress levels. It definitely helps. I have seen breathing exercises do magic in me. I used to do some breathing in and breathing out in the morning and night before going to bed. That itself had a great effect on me.

Laziness pops up

If we calm down too much we end up having laziness. I have experienced this laziness several times. Whenever we think that we don't have to do something. Today is the day for just relaxing. We start getting lazy. We won't feel like doing anything at all. This has always been a problem for me. Sometimes we think it is okay, but we end up giving up too much and start thinking that everything is okay. We can relax to some extent but not to an extent where we reach the airport late and miss our flight.

If we have laziness, it is even hard to get out of our bed on some days and do some tasks. Both our mind and body will not agree with us if we have high level of laziness.

Balance both

Throughout our life, we have to learn to balance both stress and relaxation. We have to get stressed out to some extent and at the same time, we have to also relax to some extent. This will help both our body and mind. We produce hormones during stress that is important for our body. The level of stress matters and we can maintain peace with the family.

It is always hard to keep things in balance, but at least when we try to make it balance one way or another, it for sure will make our life and body a lot more better.
