My DEC earnings from Splinterlands

For the last few months, I have started assessing my earnings from Splinterlands. The rewards are in the form of DEC tokens. I'm not a regular player and I have no possibility to get rewards in the form of SPS. All that I get is DEC rewards for providing liquidity in the diesel pools and for renting out my Splinterlands cards. I have rented out almost all my cards and have been earning a passive income from that in the form of DEC.

Thanks to Splinterlands Rentals. Now they probably have rebranded their site as https://splex.gg. This is one of the innovative dApps for splinterlands where we can automate our rental system with the help of a bot that takes care of this. This is how I started getting my passive income from rental markets. In addition to that, I have added all my liquid DEC to liquidity pools and that is also giving me a decent passive income in the form of DEC tokens.

If you look at the above screenshot, you will be able to see that in the last month alone, I have gained 133k DEC from rentals and diesel pools. I claimed my diesel pool rewards today and going to withdraw both from the internal wallet to Hive Engine. Last month my rewards were only 100k DEC and I was having my liquid DEC on Hive Engine without doing any additional investments. Now that I have found out that adding it to Diesel pools is a good deal. I would probably move my remaining liquid DEC to the diesel pools. But I guess I will also need a lot of swaps.HIVE to do that. But this time I'm planning to purchase SPS with the DEC I have and provide liquidity for SPS:DEC pair. That I think would be better because it can give me two types of rewards. One in the form of SPS and another in the form of DEC.

I prepared a script and ran the script to find out how much DEC I have received to Hive Engine from the game so far. It looks like from the internal wallet, I had transferred a decent amount of DEC every month. The price of DEC is also looking very good and that contributes to more income. From the looks of it, the amount of DEC I had received so far from the game has been increasing over the course of every year. Probably that's because of the rental income I suppose. This year the income was really good after the rental income came into existence. In addition to the DEC earnings from the game, I have also been receiving a decent amount of SPS earnings too based on my stake. Though the APR has reduced, I guess it is also a decent income from the game.

I converted half of my DEC holdings to SPS and added liquidity to the pool. The reason is that having the tokens idle in the wallet is not going to help me out. Instead keeping it in the liquidity pool will at least give me some rewards. Even though it is very less comparatively, I'm glad that I'm able to at least add a few.
