The Yellow Elder Flower!

As summer approaches, the weather starts to get warmer, but there is still a cool breeze in the air that keeps the heat from getting too intense. I've been busy lately taking care of the grass in the backyard, which has gotten quite overgrown and is home to a few snakes. I was worried that my cats might get hurt, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and start mowing the lawn. It took me almost two weeks to get the job done, because I didn't have a lawnmower and had to use grass shears to cut the grass.

In addition to mowing the lawn, I've also been busy in the garden. I've been carefully digging up the tuber plants and dividing the roots so that I can plant them elsewhere and propagate more. It will take a few more months before these plants start to bloom again, but I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful yellow flowers that will soon adorn my garden.

These flowers, called "Yellow elders," are easy to grow and will bloom throughout the year, but they are particularly vibrant in the summer months. To keep them healthy, I make sure to water them regularly and fertilize them once a month. Last month, I wasn't sure whether or not to prune the plants, but now I've changed my mind and I'm planning on planting three more trees to make my fence look even more beautiful.

As the Yellow elder flowers start to bloom, they bring life and beauty to my garden, and I couldn't be more proud of the flower garden that I've planted and nurtured myself.
