Hello everyone

As the first light of day bathed the landscape in a golden glow, I found myself at Khao Rang Viewpoint around 06:30 am. The panoramic view of Phuket spread out before me, a breathtaking tapestry of verdant hills, serene waters, and bustling city life. After soaking in the tranquil beauty of the scene, I reluctantly turned away, ready to embark on my next adventure.

I got into my car and began the descent from Khao Rang towards the Phuket Old Town area. Almost immediately, I encountered the inevitable consequence of the morning rush hour. Traffic was thick, and the once-quick journey became a slow crawl through the crowded streets. The normally short 3-kilometer drive stretched into a seemingly endless 30-minute ordeal, with cars inching forward at a snail's pace. Despite the frustration of the delay, I occupied myself with observing the vibrant life of the city through my windows—vendors setting up their stalls, children in school uniforms hurrying along the sidewalks, and the ever-present buzz of scooters weaving through the congestion.

At long last, I reached the heart of the Old Town. I maneuvered my car into a parking spot near the iconic yellow clock tower, a beloved landmark for both locals and tourists alike. This charming clock tower, with its cheerful hue and historic charm, stood proudly at the corner, a silent witness to the town's rich heritage and daily life. As I stepped out of my car, I noticed several tourists already gathered around, cameras in hand, capturing memories with the picturesque backdrop.

The clock tower beckoned me closer, and I felt a sense of excitement mingling with the calm of the morning. I knew that my exploration of Phuket Old Town was just beginning, and with the clock tower marking my starting point, I was eager to uncover the stories and secrets hidden within the colorful streets and colonial architecture of this historic area.

The road in Phuket Old Town is a historical gem that foreign tourists love to explore. Each street is easily walkable, forming a delightful labyrinth where paths intersect and lead to unexpected discoveries. I began my stroll from the yellow clock tower, a beacon of charm and history.

As I set off, the quietness of the morning enveloped me. Phuket Old Town had not yet awakened, its shops and cafes still closed, and the usual hustle and bustle nowhere to be seen. This early hour was my favorite time to wander, offering a rare moment of solitude and tranquility. Without the crowds, I could take my time, savoring the intricate details of the colonial architecture and colorful facades that lined the streets.

The serene atmosphere allowed me to appreciate the beauty of the town in a way that would be impossible later in the day. I didn't have to compete with other tourists for the perfect photo; instead, I could capture the essence of the town in its purest form. Each step took me further into the heart of the Old Town, where history whispered through every corner and the spirit of Phuket seemed to linger in the air.

I cherish the morning atmosphere in Phuket Old Town more than any other time of day. The tranquility of the early hours is a stark contrast to the usual crowds that flock here to immerse themselves in the town's rich history. In the morning, I can wander the streets at my own pace, taking in the sights without jostling for space with other visitors.

However, this serene time has its slight downside. The cafes, with their inviting aromas and promises of refreshing cold drinks, are still closed. As I walk past their charming facades, I can only imagine the bustling activity that will soon fill these spaces. For now, though, I must content myself with the quiet beauty of the town and the anticipation of a cold drink later in the day.

Despite this minor inconvenience, the peacefulness and the opportunity to explore without distraction make the early morning my favorite time to experience the timeless allure of Phuket Old Town.

Nice place there. Being able to see the city there is also quite neat.
