Hello everyone

The weather is lovely today, so I decided to explore a café or restaurant I’ve never visited before. I turned to TikTok, currently the most popular platform in Thailand, for inspiration. As expected, I discovered plenty of beautiful places I hadn’t heard of. For today, I chose a café and restaurant close to me that recently opened and caught my attention with its stunning design and inviting vibe. Its name is "Hazel." 😊

Around 1 PM, after finishing some personal errands, I drove straight to Hazel. From a distance, I couldn’t miss the giant yellow “h” standing proudly as the café's unique symbol. Its eye-catching design immediately set it apart.

The exterior featured a striking triangular façade in black, sharply contrasted by bold yellow lettering. Near the entrance, there was a tall, rectangular structure resembling a modern, artistic box. The overall look was both stylish and refreshingly unconventional.

As I stepped inside, I was immediately struck by the café's unique design. Each table and chair seemed intentionally mismatched, yet it all came together beautifully. I loved this playful, one-of-a-kind style, which added so much character to the space.

What stood out even more was the abundance of photo-worthy corners scattered throughout the café. Every angle felt like an invitation to capture a moment, making it a paradise for photo lovers. 📸

I decided to sit in one of the cozy indoor seating areas, choosing a long, plush bench that looked so inviting. After placing my order, I couldn’t resist capturing the café's stunning interior. Each corner of the space had a distinct design, yet it all came together in such a harmonious and stylish way.

The atmosphere felt so warm and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. 🛋️

It didn’t take long before the staff brought my passion fruit smoothie to the table. The sweet and tangy flavor was incredibly refreshing—just what I needed to cool off and feel rejuvenated. 🍹

The first dish arrived—a Dolly fish steak, beautifully presented with a fragrant, slightly tangy sauce and a side of crispy French fries. The flavors were decent, not overly impressive, but still enjoyable enough to satisfy my craving. 🍽️

The second dish was thinly sliced grilled beef, delicately placed over a bed of vegetables and served on a slice of crisp bread, topped with a rich and creamy sauce. As for the taste, I’d give it a 6 out of 10—it was enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. 🥩

This was the dish I had no expectations for—a simple toasted sandwich paired with ham and gooey, melted cheese oozing out from the sides. But with the very first bite, I was pleasantly surprised! It was so delicious that I couldn’t stop myself and finished it in no time. 🧀🥪

To wrap up my visit to Hazel, I must say this café left me with mixed feelings but also a lot of good impressions. From the unique and eye-catching design to the cozy corners perfect for relaxing or taking photos, it truly stands out in its own way.

The food was a mix of hits and misses—while the passion fruit smoothie was refreshingly delightful and the toasted ham and cheese sandwich completely won me over, some other dishes didn’t quite hit the mark. But that’s the beauty of trying new places—there’s always a little surprise waiting for you.

If you’re looking for a café with a fun design, plenty of Instagram-worthy spots, and a menu that has something for everyone, Hazel is definitely worth a visit.
