It's been quite a while since I last visited the Blue Tree. The Blue Tree is a spacious water park with a mural on the building, which used to be a shopping center. However, it has been tranquil since the onset of COVID-19. Despite that, I appreciate the current atmosphere—the vibrant colors of the buildings and the peaceful surroundings. Presently, tourists, primarily foreigners, are flocking to visit the Blue Tree.

During this visit to Blue Tree, I noticed a distinct change from my previous experiences. It was more unusual this time around, marked by a notable increase in the number of restaurants compared to the previous year. The likely reason for this enhancement is the presence of an immigration office within Blue Tree, designed to streamline services for tourists.

The introduction of the immigration office has led to a surge in tourist activity, with more visitors opting to make use of the services provided. Consequently, the Blue Tree has taken on a livelier ambiance compared to before. The water park, once known for its tranquility, now bustles with the energy of tourists availing themselves of the convenient immigration services.

Each time I find myself in this place, I inevitably come to a halt, captivated by the mesmerizing murals that grace the surroundings. While my heart is drawn to the beauty of flowers, my own lack of artistic prowess leaves me relegated to an admirer rather than a creator. The act of transforming a vast wall into a canvas demands an array of skills and techniques, making me appreciate the artistry even more.

Among the many talented artists, one who consistently catches my eye is known by the pseudonym "Hyik." His artistry not only embellishes the forgotten walls along secluded roads in Phuket but also adorns the sides of tall buildings. Encountering his work in such an elevated context is a first for me.

The process of sketching a large picture on a towering structure requires a unique set of talents. "Hyik" seems to possess an innate ability to bring forth beauty and detail, even in the most unexpected and abandoned places. The forgotten walls along the roads of Phuket become a gallery, each stroke of his brush transforming neglected spaces into vivid stories.

Blue Tree has added an exciting dimension to its evenings with a lively circular activity area that comes to life most nights. One of the featured attractions is a Zumba dance school that performs, infusing the atmosphere with energy and rhythm. However, on the day of my visit, I arrived in the afternoon, missing out on the vibrant Zumba performance that typically graces the circular activity area in the evenings.

The prospect of witnessing the Zumba dance school adds an extra layer of entertainment and fitness to the Blue Tree experience. The circular activity area, surrounded by the dynamic ambiance of the water park, transforms into a hub of movement and music during these performances. It's a delightful addition that encourages visitors to join in or simply revel in the lively spectacle.

While my timing prevented me from experiencing the Zumba performance firsthand on this particular visit, the anticipation of returning during the evening sessions now holds a promise of vibrant dance, laughter, and a communal celebration of movement. Blue Tree's commitment to offering diverse activities further enhances its appeal, ensuring that each visit holds the potential for new and exciting experiences.
