Thailand is currently in a state of severe flood disaster in many provinces and it is raining all over Thailand. Phuket is no exception, it is raining almost all the time. Today I am staying home and not going anywhere. It is nice to listen to the rain while lying down in this kind of weather. However, the clothes I wash will take several days to dry. I thought I would wait to wash clothes on a sunny day, but it has been raining for several days. Therefore, I have to wash my clothes today. Although I have a washing machine, I do not have a dryer, so I have to hang the clothes in the shade, but it takes several days to dry.

The rain also provides excellent fertilizer for trees and flowers, which helps them grow well. Now my lotus flowers are starting to bloom one after another, some are still in bud, waiting to bloom in the morning. I am eagerly waiting to see the lotus flowers I planted because, before this, the lotus flowers that had emerged from the water had dried up and died before they could bloom for me to enjoy.

This morning, the wind and rain were blowing hard, but my lotus slowly opened its pink petals to show off its beauty. I watched it through the large glass window in front of the house, wanting to go out and take a closer look, but the wind was strong.

After the rain and wind had eased, I finally had the chance to admire my lotus in full bloom. The petals ranged in gradient color from white to deep pink, filled with water droplets. It had been a long time since I had seen a lotus in my garden, and it made me so happy and proud to finally be able to grow a lotus that could bloom.

Today it rained all day when I didn't go out, so I ordered food online to eat at home. Nowadays, there are many conveniences to meet human needs. Online shopping business thrives during the Covid outbreak because people can't go out and live normally. Therefore, people turn to spend more money online. And I have become a slave to online marketing. Today I ordered Tom Yum and noodles to eat at home. Although the taste may be reduced compared to eating at the restaurant, it is more convenient than having to get wet in the rain and drive to eat at the restaurant.
