Cooling Down in the Central Florestra Mall.

The summer heat in Thailand can be intense, and the locals eagerly await the rainy season for relief. However, this year was different. Although the rainy season had officially begun, the skies remained clear and the sun beat down relentlessly. It was almost unbearable to be outside for more than a few minutes. As a concerned parent, I was worried about my son's well-being in this sweltering weather. So, I decided to take him to the Central Department Store, a shopping mall known for its efficient air conditioning system and a wide variety of food options. As soon as we entered the mall, we felt the refreshing cool air hit us, instantly relieving us of the heat. But we were not alone in our search for respite. The mall was packed with people of all ages, seeking refuge from the relentless sun. We made our way to the bridge connecting Central Festival and Central Florestra, which was beautifully decorated with colorful balls that swayed gently in the cool breeze. It was a popular spot for tourists to take pictures, and we were no exception. My son and I posed for several pictures, capturing the memories of this fun-filled day.

As we continued exploring the mall, we stumbled upon a plethora of food options that made our mouths water. From local delicacies to international cuisines, the food court had it all. We decided to try some Thai street food and a few ice-cold beverages to quench our thirst. After filling our bellies and resting for a bit, we resumed our exploration of the mall. My son found a toy store that caught his eye, and we spent some time there, playing with the various toys and games. We also visited a few clothing stores and ended up buying a few summer outfits. Before we knew it, it had been 2-3 hours since we arrived at the mall. Reluctantly, we made our way back home.
