Basking in the Warmth of Nature: A Sunset in Bang Tao Beach.

It had been quite some time since I last watched the sunset in the evening. For the past few months, Thailand had been grappling with the problem of smog and toxic dust, making it almost impossible to enjoy the natural beauty of the sun setting on the horizon. Even in Phuket, which was only slightly affected, the sunsets during the summer weren't as beautiful as during the rainy season or winter. As a result, I refrained from venturing out to watch the sunset. But things had started to change now. Thailand had started receiving some rain, and in Phuket, the skies were clearing up during the day. And yesterday, at around 5 pm, I decided to take a drive to Bang Tao Beach, which was only 10 kilometers away from my home.

As I arrived at the beach, I noticed that it was bustling with activity. There were both Thai and foreign tourists, some swimming in the sea, while others were building sandcastles and having fun. However, most of the Thai tourists had congregated on the sand dunes that were washed by the sea waves, eagerly waiting to watch the sunset. I, on the other hand, decided to take a long walk along the beach, taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The sky on the other side was incredibly bright, and as the sun started to set, I returned to the same spot to watch it go down. However, yesterday, there was a huge black cloud that almost obscured the setting sun. Despite the cloud, the sun still managed to shine through, and I could see the big orange ball of fire slowly descending towards the horizon. The beauty of the sun was still visible, and it was a sight to behold. I spent almost three hours at the beach, taking in the serene beauty of nature before heading back home.
