Last weekend, my husband and I wanted to relax after my husband had been working hard for months, so we booked a hotel near Khao Khad, Panwa Cape. Even though our house is not far from the beaches of Phuket, we wanted to relax at the hotel for a night. We stopped for lunch in the morning before check-in time at "Chill Rim Lay", a restaurant not far from the hotel we booked. This restaurant is right on the beach, with a great atmosphere and many big shady trees.

After parking the car, we walked into the restaurant, which is hidden among the big trees near the sea. The atmosphere is very shady and cool. The restaurant is open-air with many tables set up under the shade of big trees. If you don't like it or it's raining, you can choose to sit inside the restaurant, which is built as a large open-air pavilion. There is no air conditioning, only a fan and natural wind blowing through all the time.

The weather at 11:00 am was not hot because it had rained heavily before we arrived and stopped just 1 hour before we arrived, so the weather was cool and we could see the vast sea.

After ordering food, I immediately walked around and took pictures of the atmosphere around the restaurant. This was my first time here and I had intended to come here many times after seeing reviews of this restaurant from various pages. I finally came because the restaurant was near the hotel we had booked. The atmosphere was near noon when the water level was low, so I walked along the wooden bridge that the restaurant had built to walk to the boats that were anchored. The low tide is a valuable time for local fishermen to go out and catch seafood to sell for a living.

After taking pictures of the seaside atmosphere to my satisfaction, I walked back to the table. Not long after, the staff brought the first dish, which was crispy pork fried in fish sauce. The pork was very crispy and delicious. When I chewed, I could hear the sound indicating the crispiness of the pork.

The second dish is Crispy Vegetable Salad. The restaurant serves spicy sauce with minced pork and shrimp, served with fried vegetables. It is my favorite dish. The Crispy Vegetable Salad is so big that I finished the whole plate by myself. I started to feel full, but the food I ordered was not finished.

The last dish was the steamed crab with curry paste with lots of crab meat the taste was very delicious. Even though I was starting to feel full, the deliciousness of the steamed crab with curry was enough to make me eat more. This was another delicious meal with a great atmosphere and I was very impressed with it.

After paying for our food, we still had some time left, so I took another look at the surroundings.
