A Morning of Unpredictable Rain: My Exercise Journey at Suan Luang Park
Hello everyone
For several days, I had been eager to exercise at Suan Luang Park. Each morning, though, rainclouds gathered, and the rain poured down, disrupting my plans. Today seemed different. The sky was overcast but dry as I dropped my son off at school. Hopeful, I decided to drive straight to Suan Luang Park.
As I neared the park, the rain suddenly began to fall, dashing my hopes once again. However, by the time I arrived at the entrance, the rain had miraculously stopped. Seizing the opportunity, I ventured into Suan Luang Park, silently praying that the rain would hold off long enough for me to enjoy my walk.
But my wish didn’t come true. As I jogged, the rain started pouring down again. I had to run to a children's play area that had a roof to shelter from the rain.
Ten minutes later, the rain stopped again. So, I started jogging slowly, following the road shaded by large trees. The surroundings were filled with lush greenery, and when the wind blew, the water droplets clinging to the leaves fell down like rain. Water that flowed on uneven surfaces added to the natural beauty. Every puddle and rivulet seemed like a small celebration of nature's charm, making my run all the more enchanting.
This morning, there weren’t as many people exercising as usual. After jogging, I started using various exercise equipment scattered throughout the area of Suan Luang Park. Most of the equipment was wet, but this was not a hindrance; I could simply wipe off the water and continue my workout. I changed up my exercise equipment frequently to ensure every part of my body got a workout. The peaceful atmosphere and the gentle sounds of nature made the entire experience invigorating, despite the occasional rain.
I spent about 45 minutes exercising, and then the rain started falling again, harder and harder. So, I had to run to the nearest pavilion to take shelter. I sat and watched the rain falling incessantly. Many people were running inside the pavilion to take shelter, just like me. I waited for almost 30 minutes, hoping the rain would stop, but it didn't seem to ease up. When the rain finally began to lighten, I hurried to the parking lot outside the park, about 2 kilometers from the pavilion. By the time I reached my car, my clothes were damp with rain droplets. I immediately drove home, grateful for the exercise but longing for a day without interruptions from the rain.
