A Community Effort: Parents and Children Celebrate Children's Day Together!
Yesterday, many schools organized a Children's Day event one day in advance because it was Children's Day. The event, which falls on the second Saturday of January every year, is a chance for both government and private agencies to organize activities for children.
I, along with other parents, volunteered to make food and snacks for the kids at school. We arrived early in the morning to prepare ingredients for cooking. We made "Thai–rice–flour noodles" and there was a liquid to eat with 4 types of Thai–rice–flour noodles and various vegetables. There were also fried chicken, fried bananas, snacks, tea, and coffee. We finished around 10 am.
After we finished preparing the food, we went to see the children's performances. On stage, around 11 o'clock, the students began to gradually come to eat. It was a tiring, fun, and happy day. It was heartening to see the children eat delicious food and enjoy themselves. Overall, it was a great experience for all the parents and children who participated in the Children's Day event.
