The ABBA Tribute Group ABBA-Teens
Back in 1999, an ABBA tribute group came to existence with an entire album of covers from, of course, ABBA. They were called A-Teens, a name they had focused on from their second album. They were initially called as ABBA Teens on their debut album which was "The ABBA Generation".
The group's first album was well received in European countries particularly in their homeland Sweden. The lead single was "Mamma Mia", which became a number 1 hit in the country. So far, it reached number 12 in UK Singles Chart. "Super Trouper" was released as their second album, and it reached number 2 in Sweden. It became the second of two singles to chart in UK peaking at number 21.

"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" was also released as a single but with limited chart entries in different countries. It reached number 10 in Sweden. "Happy New Year", the fourth single, peaked at number 4 in their homeland. The final single has been "Dancing Queen".

Their own version of "Dancing Queen" became their first single to enter the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number 95. "The ABBA Generation" somewhat sold well going platinum in Europe, while it has globally sold 3 million copies worldwide.
