'e' Designs | Analog & Digital Lettering ✨

avatar
(Edited)

I'm someone who's extremely comfortable with hand sketches. Sketchbooks & pencils are my favorite tools to design with. But the benefits and charm of digital tools is tempting to say the least.

My current method is sketchbook first, getting the concept in place and then on to Procreate or Adobe Illustrator for the finished version. I've tried to sketch digitally but the Apple Pencil doesn't beat the easiness and flow of a wooden pencil 🤗

Currently, it is a time taking process for me but if it works the best than what does it matter, huh?! So this is me navigating the analog and digital world as a lettering artist.

A pencil is always more convenient for me, the hand feels the touch of a pencil on the surface better than the touch of a stick on the tablet screen (IMHO), I like how you designed these types of fonts, bravo!
