The Stream
"It's going to be 12 pm soon," John said to his grandma as they were working on the farm. His grandma replied with a shocked expression, "I didn't realize that time had gone by so quickly. What time is it?
"Grandma, it's 11:20 am and the stream is starting at 12:00. If we don't leave now, we are going to miss the program from the start. I want to see the procession, I want to see Will and how he's doing.
Will is John's big brother. He left for another country to study two years ago. Today is his convocation, and the stream is meant to start at 12 pm.
"Pack our things we are leaving now" Grandma said to John. John quickly wrapped everything up, and they went back home. They got back home at 11:45 a.m., about 15 minutes before the scheduled time. They had to take their showers and get ready, which took about 10 minutes, leaving them 5 minutes before the stream started. John quickly set up the computer system, and they joined the stream just in time at 12 p.m. The program started immediately.
After 5 minutes of streaming, suddenly the computer encountered a blue screen error and shut down. John tried all he could to bring it back on, but it refused. John was there trying to fix it for almost 30 minutes, but nothing worked. Grandma had already given up sitting on the couch looking at John as he battles with the computer system, the neighbors were not around at that time so it was difficult to seek help. Frustrated, John flipped the MiFi device he had with him, and it flew and landed on the power button of the laptop. The system came back on, and the atmosphere changed; hope was restored. John quickly reconnected to the server, and luckily for them, it was the exact time for the procession. That was how they were able to follow the stream.
