Vibin' With These New Sets Of Friends
First impressions lasts and will be etched in our minds but it doesn't mean that it will stay that way forever.
When I first meet my seniors during our training, they were showing us how intimidating they were. They were even trying hard to break our resolve and make us quit by sacring us while demonstrating some scenarios that could be quite terrifying in some ways.
I could say that have done their part well during that time. It was surely hard to keep up and defense ourselves from their attacks. Handling the situation well was a challenge for we were unsure if we had responded in a correct way to be able to pass the training. Not to mention the punishments, that was more terrifying than their yelling and demanding commands.
Yet, after all of that, our impressions with them turned upside down and had completely changed as we start to bond with them in some occassions.
One time, I have thought of practicing for our swimming since we are going to have a Water Search and Rescue Training next time. At first, the plan was only the four of us ladies, then they managed to contact one of seniors who is living near the place. Then, another two of them followed. We rented a table and the pool for the whole afternoon.
Lucky for us to find some good seniors that can be the good teacher and good friends at the same time. They were not that intimidating as they have shown at first, but friends whom we can vibe with anytime meet and take care of us like we are their sisters and their daughters. They were the one who brought our foods and paid the pool. We haven't paid a penny for it, but only for our transportation fare.
They have taught a few tricks adequate for assessing certain situations. Saving a drowning person for example and they are in panic. They have proper techniques on releasing that person in panic from their grasp on you, so you could safely bring them ashore.
It was surely quite hard forus to master all of the techniques in just one session but we have learned a lot from that. After a while, we paused the practice for a while to eat. While we were eating, few people rushed in to booked the pool. Our senior proposed an alternative, and go to the sea instead.
Before going there, we stopped by the house of one of our seniors to have some Coconut juice. They have waited for the others while we drink. The group that's just consist of 6 people at first were getting larger in number and it's still counting.
To The Sea and The New Set Of Friends
I have known that the owner of this resort is one of my seniors, too. This place is one of their hideouts to meet up, bond, drink, and eat. If you're with them, you couldn't tell who is of the highest rank at all. They treat each others like the closest of friends and even more like a family.
The sea was on low tide, and it left for the shore to be wider. Fishing boats were passing by at the distance. They were friends with the fishermen, and they bought fresh shrimps and fishes at them. Being friends with the seller comes with a good deal, they received more than what they have paid for.
Another hideout on the second meeting
It was actually a cafe this time. Perfect for a coffee blog supposedly but I haven't spared some time to take a lot of pictures inside of the place. They are only serving local coffee but the place is great. The place is peaceful and cool with good view of the river in the front.
They are also catering a talent show off. They are lending their speakers, microphone, guitar, and Keyboard to their customers for free and let them play or sing in the cafe as much as they want. The youngest in the group wouldn't back down for this. She took over the spotlight and sang her favorite songs, never stopping until we went home.
Having a new set of friends is good for us as well. You know learning new learnings we didn't know before and priceless experiences. I'm sure you've learned a lot from them from the training. Thus, I'm glad your seniors are approachable like that. !PIZZA

It seems that you have good set of friends. Going to the beach is one of the best. Water Search and Rescue Training is a very helpful training for us to save lives.
It's a life skill that can be used in emergency situations, especially that flood is common in our place. Thanks, ma'am. They are surely the great ones.
You're welcome.☺️
Nice nature photos sis and because of blogging I met my new sets of friends
I have my set of friends online, too. Thanks for dropping by, Ate.
Yeah! I agree with your first statement. Sometimes we feel that way but if we go along with those persons with whom we feel something different and know them better then the final judgment will occur. There are persons whom you might think his/her not good to be with but in the end, they are the ones nice to mingle with. In your case maybe it's one way of the disciplines they think best suited for your group. But indeed, you had fabulous friends hard to let go of. Stay safe and God bless.
I'm lucky to found them. It's rare to have some geniune friends nowadays. God bless you, too.
Congratulations @ayane-chan!
You raised your level and are now a Minnow!
