Beginning of a newbie | A glimpse introduction of my life

Introduction

Hello ,My name is Ayami Haya. I am 20 years old. I am from Bangladesh and currently living in Dhaka with my family. I have no siblings and I want to share a glimpse of my life as my Introduction here on Hive. My life was full of struggle but my parents always tried their best to provide me everything. I am their everything and they always have showered me with love and care because they never had the chance to be loved. But now I think I should do something for my parents. I want to be independent and do something on my own.

Game was my escape

I truly never had real friends. No one ever made me a part of their groups. They would just simply avoid me . Actually I don’t know how I was never good at making friends! It was very effective for me at that time so I started to give my time in playing games. I would just play online games whenever I had free time. I was not that much active in studies. Because at first my mother would keep me under pressure for good marks and it was a headache for me . That’s why I was not interested in studies. But as time passed I had realised there is no need to make friends I can stay happy by myself. And I started to focus on my studies and became a topper in my class . I was not a nerd but I was loved by all teachers. Which was a very proud moment for my parents. I never went to picnic or study tour my parents never allowed me do that. They would never let me go anywhere alone. When I was in school/high school my mother would always come to drop me off and pick me up even at tiffen time she would come to feed me and my friends used to make fun of that. However my parents cared too much for me sometimes it was suffocating for me. But somewhere I knew that they were genuinely scared to leave me alone. Because they thought I could never survive alone because they never taught me how to. So most of the times I had to stay at home and only game was my last hope.

Addiction for game brought a light

Since I was very young and didn’t know what to do . In lockdown I had a plan to stream what I play. I am fond playing games since my childhood. I was too much addicted and I thought to use this addiction for something beneficial. I was a shy person and I thought I could never do it but my team mates pushed my back to start streaming . Then I told my father about my plannings. He gave me full support to start this journey and also provided me a gaming pc .

I wanted everyone to recognise me through my gameplay so I had to create an identity. At first I started to publish my gameplay on YouTube then after a while I had realised its a long procedure and I didn’t think that it would be a good idea to grow through YouTube. So I thought that first I should start streaming on Facebook and back then I had few friends who would always share my stream on Facebook groups . But on YouTube there was no use of sharing that’s why I thought I should go with Facebook.

My journey with gaming

I was a shy person never wanted to be famous through my face so I thought of finding a way to be in-front of public and also didn’t want to show my face then I came up with the idea of mask. My inspiration was Alan walker and marshmello. I can’t put on a box on my face for hours so I thought of using a mask while streaming with webcam. At first I was being criticised because of using mask later on everyone got used to it. The main fact is that I never wanted to mix up my personal life and professional life. That’s the main reason I never want to reveal my face. In real life none knew I had a page or something so In 2019 in the month of December I started streaming pUBG mobile. I started playing this game in 2018 and later on started to play as an esports athlete. I was the first gamer in Bangladesh who was using mask during live stream and gaming. My audience was expecting one day I would reveal my face but I didn’t hide it to show it after I would get some fame . Because of my irregularities my Facebook page didn’t grow that much in those years but everyone knows me as a well known player because I play with the boys in boys lobby which is pretty rare in Bangladesh pubgm community .

Because girls would only play with the girls in the girls lobby. I found it pretty injustice why can’t girls compete in boys lobby . In my mind girls can also compete with the boys. To prove that fact I had started my journey in competitive with boys in the boys lobby. I was bullied for it some said I should go to kitchen I belong to the kitchen why I am here playing games . Even girls would complain I am a girl I should play girls lobby why am I playing with the boys blah blah. In the end I had proved them wrong and I was announced as the best female player in Bangladesh PUBGM community. I have gained so many success. Right I own a page with 31K followers and now my Facebook page Haya Gaming is on the rise. My post engagement is higher than any other girl player in Bangladesh pubgm community.

My Career

I have chosen gaming as my career and my father gave me his full support which made it much easier for me to proceed. Not only support and love but also hatred I have faced while building my career in gaming. At first I would get upset for those hatred but now It doesn’t effect me anymore now I am more matured and I know how much my fans love me and I can’t get upset for few haters. Because I have a huge fan base and I am satisfied with that. Not everyone will like or support me some might hate me for no valid reason. I have accepted that I should stay calm to make a wise decision that’s why I don’t react much anymore. But as a human being I do get upset I can’t control my feelings as always because in real I am an emotional person and I can do nothing much about this fact.

My view on gaming career

Gaming life was fun and still going on. I have learnt how to control my feelings and how to be strong. I can see my own differences from 2018-2023 lots of things has changed. My mentality my personality.Even I have earned my own money through streaming my gameplay. I also got many offers for sponsorship. I am so glad that I had chosen gaming as my career I found many people with cool personality who could match with mine. I got friends and some younger brothers through gaming and they are pretty close to me. They have always stood by my side I never thought I would meet them. I hope in future I could grow more than I am struggling now.

I love cats

i am a cat lover . But I am not allowed to bring any cat at home. Because my father is allergic to cats. So whenever I am free i would just feed street cats. I still remember when I was 12 years old I had a cat which was found on a street. And I knew I could not take proper care of it so my grandmother took care of it but one day I woke up and saw that my cat was gone and everyone told me it ran away. But I knew that someone had hidden my cat somewhere else because they didn’t want me to have a cat as a pet. It made me upset that cat went missing before I named it. I did cry for three days but never found that cat.

Piece of advice

If you have a big dream trust me you can achieve it anyhow if you can believe in yourself. Small steps can take you further than you can ever think of! Just believe in yourself and try to achieve with what you have give your best and one day you can be successful. I used to think who would ever watch my stream who would ever know my name but now life has brought me somewhere I could never think of.
