My First Hive Project
The journey to Asamankama took roughly three hours. The car came to a halt in front of a primary school. The place was set, ready for the program. School children, teachers, parents, and other dignitaries were gathered in their numbers ready for the launch of the Hive borehole project in the community.
The program started around 11 o'clock. We were welcomed by the people with open arms as the children choreographed their way through to make way for the various speakers to give their speeches. The chief, elders of the community and facilitator of the program, expressed gratitude and laid their petitions before the Hive community.
They also promised to keep the project safe and make it available even to other generations to come.
The program came to an end as the sod was cut to commission the project and some people also underwent health screening.
This is the first ever hive project I have been a part of. I found it very inspiringto seeg how the people were so happy to now have access to clean running water. I realized the great impact the hive community made in this community and the smiles they had put on their faces.
I want to thank the moderators leaders and organizers of the HiveGhanaa community for the project and the impact they have made. Now, the people of Asamankama can also boast of clean running water and hence the reduced instance of watewaterborneeases.
It was so much fun and excitement all over and i was so happy to see you in person for the first time, you looked amazing and you did an amazing job helping the team in all aspects of the program, i look forward to seeing more of you
Thank you very much!
