How I spend my leisure hours

Leisure is an important aspect of our life. It is as crucial as work itself. Leisure is mostly characterized by rest.
As most people would like to use their leisure time for rest from exhaustion, I like to use my leisure period to do stuff that requires less energy but at the same time quite productive and relaxing.

Being busy throughout the week doesn't stop me from observing my leisure hours because I still squeeze time for leisure into my busy schedule.
In my free time, I like to read and write.
I read mostly Christian literature and motivational books.

Currently, I'm reading a book titled The 360° Leader which I stole from my sister together with a Christian literature titled More than Conquerors.
Writing is my haven. I enjoy writing, be it poems, random write-ups, or journaling.
I love that it helps me get down thoughts I can't express.

I didn't use to write a lot but as I got to high school, it became something I fell in love with doing.
Even though people say some things are better left unsaid, I prefer writing down mine. It sometimes acts like therapy.
I write down my goals, dreams, and aspirations and to some extent, it helps keep me focused and on track.
I love writing and hence my reason for joining Hive.

I also love to watch movies during my free time especially when I'm eating if that counts.
I'd rather not eat than eat without watching a movie.(it's that bad)
I love to watch high school or teenage movies. I'm currently watching my all-time favorite All American for the 2nd time because I'm out of movies(recommendations are gladly welcome).

I tried to explore the world of anime and horror but I guess that isn't for me or I've probably not found the one yet.
Once in a while, I spend my leisure time talking to my family, cracking jokes, and laughing it all out.

Being a workaholic is very good but at the same time, you must set aside some time for leisure and relaxation.
