Patience, silence and waiting.
It was a quiet day, I was sitting on a bench in a square and I could see the pigeons in the distance.
They didn't come closer, I think they were busy with something else, chatting among themselves and there seemed to be few of them.
But one thing I have learned, when one approaches for a reason, for example, food, there are too many of them everywhere. As if one calls out to the others.
But then the first one owns the food and scolds the rest to stay away from whatever tasty thing she is eating.
They understand each other, I guess.
I like the variety of colours the pigeons have around here, where I used to live they were mostly grey and the white ones were used for carrier pigeons and there were fewer of them.
The shades of colours are great, there are so many different ones.
A lot of people don't like pigeons, they say they are flying rats, because they bring diseases, but I don't know for sure, unless I'm sick I don't think anything will happen.
They were far away, I don't think they even noticed my presence, but I wanted them to.
I love to capture their movements and how funny they are.
That day I was drinking mate in a park and I was also carrying crackers, the crunchy kind.
I said to myself, at least one pigeon will come to me and so I broke a small cracker between my hands and threw just a little piece... the first pigeon came quickly.
But I don't know if they communicate with each other or if the others saw it, because another one came and then another one and another one, of the most diverse colours.
In a moment there were so many of them in front of me. It's part of nature and I love to admire it, even though many people don't like pigeons. It's as if they have a bad reputation.
Just one biscuit and a lot of them came and they were fighting to eat the crumbs.
It was a great opportunity to capture them with my phone camera, if there's a chance I don't miss it.
I had a lot of patience, because they didn't come, but after the first one came, the others noticed.
It is also true that I had to be very still and quiet and also wait for each shot, although they moved very fast as if desperate to get a crumb of a biscuit.
I think in life there are many situations like this where you have to be patient, keep quiet and wait, wait for the right moment, the opportunity and when it is there don't let it slip away.
Opportunities arise in life almost constantly and if we pay attention and are concentrated and silent, without any bustle in our mind, we can see them and take advantage of them.
Then time passes and we may regret not having captured that photo, that shot, that opportunity.
And we also have to take some crumbs or biscuits, take action, do something to make things happen, cause and effect.
Even nature teaches us great lessons in life, we just have to be attentive.
Thank you very much for watching and reading this far, I wish you a great Sunday.

It is true that there are people who do not like pigeons they consider them a risk, when I was little in the town where we lived in the main square in front of the church there were many pigeons and it was customary after mass on Sundays people bought corn or rice and threw them to the square and they flew to eat and it looked very nice there were small houses of pigeons here.
It is true that as they are in the street they can catch diseases, but in the end they are birds.... and it is nature! Thank you very much Monica!😃
Preciosas palomas.
Yes, pigeons have a bad reputation, and there are some really bad people with a good reputation. Maybe pigeons lack a good image consultant. About the occasion, and cause and effect, nothing happens for nothing and if someone wants something, something has to be done for the desired effect to happen.
Happy beginning of the week @avdesing
That's great about the image consultant, when I see them next time I'll tell them! For the rest I totally agree!
Good night and thank you!✨
I threw crumbs to a sparrow, until the pigeons appeared and took possession of the crumbs and they were mixing with each other haha the survival of the fittest, or something like that 😂
They are not flying rats, they are beautiful and innocent, a bit feisty, but beautiful with those colors 😍
Patience is a virtue 🦉
They like to steal food from each other hahaha.
That day I had to be very patient hahaha.🤣

Thank you!!!😃
The pigeons around here seem to always be spinning or dancing trying to entice a potential mate. They never get tired 😄
I liked the parrot too!
The same thing happens here hahahaha and the parrot .... wanted to eat!!!🤣
Hello @avdesing
I love pigeons, they are beautiful birds, and I don't think they transmit diseases
Your photos are beautiful
Have a nice day
I'm not so sure about those diseases, they're beautiful, they just have a bad reputation!😃
It is admirable how well the pigeons have adapted to our environment, and how happy they are in our squares
I am intrigued to know what that little parakeet was doing in the middle of the pigeons.
Thank you very much for sharing these precise shots
Happy start of the week dear friend @avdesing
That was an insider! Queria galleta jajajajaja
Thank you very much always!!!😃
I have always enjoyed observing animals. Their behaviour teaches us great lessons.
Today when the boy finished cleaning my backyard and the surrounding areas a lot of pigeons came to eat. I thought I would take pictures of them. Maybe in the afternoon I'll sit on my stool with a cup of tea and the camera and see what I can do.
I also have some plants to repot.
;)
I'll be waiting for those pictures! You are an excellent photographer!
🙂 Thank you
The pigeons are posing as if to say: "Look! They look so pretty and chubby that this human photographed us" hahaha What peace these photos convey to me.
It was a relaxed moment, drinking mate and taking pictures, it was great!
