Glass sometimes seems so fragile that it can break from a small bump or a carelessness can cause it to fall and shatter. Glass in any of its forms, a glass, a jug, a plate or a decoration.

But there are crystals forged in such a way that their hardness matches their quality, they are much more resistant, they are thicker and a simple tap cannot damage them.

The things we experience can make us weak or strong, depending on how we deal with those circumstances. They can make us so strong that the next blow will hurt but not destroy us.

We will be able to look through that crystal clear glass at life, learn and forge the destiny we want with what we learn. To be crystal is not to be weak, it all depends on the quality of the crystal and the quality depends on how we forge it every step of the way.

Design process

I built the design with six images and developed it in Photoshop CS6 free of AI, in fourteen layers.

To make the background I used two texture images, the pink one in normal mode and the coloured lights with the overlay fusion.

Then I placed the image of the door in the centre in three layers with soft light, overlay and focal light blending, previously erasing the background.

Then I worked on the image of the woman in five layers, also erasing the background beforehand. I used several blends and several filters in the different layers, until I achieved the obtained result.

The fusions I used are: focal light, darken, intense light, normal and soft light. Some layers I changed them to black and white and in one of them I only left the hair, erasing the rest. The filter used in different levels was chrome and then with the fusion it looks like glass.

Then I intermingled between the layers of the woman the image of the water in two layers with fusions of focal light and superimpose and finally I placed the image of the glass in two layers on both sides of the woman with the fusion of darken.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El cristal a veces parece tan frágil que puede romperse de un pequeño golpe o un descuido puede caerse y hacerse trizas. El cristal en cualquiera de sus formas, un vaso, una jarra, un plato o una decoración.

Pero hay cristales forjados de manera que su dureza hace a su calidad, que resisten mucho más, son más gruesos y un simple golpecito no puede dañarlos.

Las cosas que vivimos pueden hacernos débiles o fuertes, depende de cómo afrontemos esas circunstancias. Pueden hacernos tan fuertes que el próximo golpe dolerá, pero no nos destruirá.

Podremos ver a través de ese cristal cristalino la vida, aprender y forjar el destino que queramos con lo aprendido. Ser de cristal no es ser débil, todo dependerá de la calidad del mismo y la calidad depende de cómo lo forjemos en cada paso de nuestro caminar.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño lo construí con seis imágenes y lo desarrollé en Photoshop CS6 libre de IA, en catorce capas.

Para realizar el fondo usé dos imágenes de texturas, la rosada en modo normal y la de luces de colores con la fusión superponer.

Luego coloqué la imagen de la puerta en el centro en tres capas con fusiones de luz suave, superponer y luz focal, borrando previamente el fondo.

Posteriormente trabaje en cinco capas la imagen de la mujer, borrando también previamente el fondo. Usé varias fusiones y varios filtros en las distintas capas, hasta lograr el resultado obtenido.

Las fusiones que usé son: luz focal, oscurecer, luz intensa, normal y luz suave. Algunas capas las pase a blanco y negro y en una de ellas sólo dejé el cabello borrando el resto. El filtro usado en distintos niveles fue cromo y que luego con la fusión logra parecerse a cristal.

Luego entremezclé entre las capas de la mujer la imagen del agua en dos capas con fusiones de luz focal y superponer y finalmente coloqué la imagen de la copa en dos capas a ambos lados de la mujer con la fusión de oscurecer.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Debido a la falta de funcionamiento de 3speak, subí la animación a mi canal de YouTube para poder mostrarles el trabajo completo.
