Channel review Thomas Bergersen - Strength and energy in a composer I love. 🎶

I've always liked to pay attention to film soundtracks and even more so when I found out that this composer was behind them.

I love epic orchestral music, but I didn't know his exact name until about nine years ago.

When I started researching the author of many of those soundtracks I came across Thomas Bergersen and his label Two Steps from Hell. If you are interested in knowing a bit about it you can check it out here.

I liked this music more and more every day, I listened to it all the time, while I was working, designing and even on my walks at that time. I taught some classes at home and that was the kind of music I had on my phone and listened to while I was on my way to those places.

I never imagined I would become such a fan of epic music and more so of epic orchestral music and it was thanks to this composer. Since I was a child I love the violin, but this instrument in an orchestra sounds masterful.

And not only that, it is a mixture of classical music, which I always liked, with modernity, as it is not traditional and has been adapted to film music, video game music and much more.

The feeling I get from listening to Thomas's compositions is one of strength, energy, power, it really lifts my spirits on those days when I might be feeling low.

Besides all this, as I like a lot to design and design about epic, historical, warrior themes, many times these songs inspire me and create images in my head and even stories.

I listen to this channel also when I write and when I paint and I never get tired of listening to it. Their repertoire is so varied that I can listen to this music for hours in the background.

Many other people have also taken this kind of music to make remix compositions and they have been excellent, they are also to my liking, but much more the originals.

Some of his songs transmit me that strength I'm talking about as in this video.

Source

As the name of the song says, it produces such a strength in me, as if expressing the never give up in what one proposes. Listening to it reminds me of battles, big erotic battles, having a certain goal as a goal and fighting for it.

But this also applies to everyday life, it alludes to that determination to keep going against all odds for what you want, the ultimate goal.

The example below is one of my favourite songs.

Source

I had this song for a long time as a rington on my phone, if that's how much of a fan I am. At one time all the music was epic, then I kept mixing it up with others. But it's always there.

When I listen to it, as the title says, it alludes to the winner, the one who reaches the finish line. If you pay attention, you realise that all or almost all of them have a sense of effort, constancy and perseverance. I feel too much identified.

But I think that there are also romantic songs within this composer that I adore so much and this is an example for me.

Source

When I listen to them, they make me think of love, of correspondence, of affection, of the great force of love both in a couple and in general, universal love. That force that is like a light that unites two hearts, when soul mates meet on earth and recognise each other when they look into each other's eyes. That's what inspires me with this powerful music. The power of love.

Finally, I leave you another of my favourite songs, beautiful orchestral sounds, for me it is masterful, besides the energy that emanates from this great composition.

Source

There are many others that I like, not to say all of them, because I think they all have something that I like and I really love this composer. Not only because of the music he composes but also because he is present in countless trailers and soundtracks of the films I like the most, the science fiction, fantasy and epic ones.

Playing an instrument alone is difficult, now imagine a whole orchestra, all that harmony, that time and that we can perceive all the instruments that participate there, it is pure magic 😍

What I like most of the movies are their soundtracks, I dare to say that orchestras predominate in them and it is not for less, what they generate are endless feelings and that mixture of sounds of different instruments uff, I delight me haha

Beautiful melodies, I didn't know any of them, but they all have their magic and power, thanks for sharing them 😍

As you have uploaded a second review, I ask: how long does this initiative last?

And since it's Friday, I wish you a great weekend @avdesing.
