Artistic boxes for very sweet contents. 🍬🍪

Miniatura.jpg

I'm not a big fan of eating sweets, although I do love milk chocolate. Many years ago I used to eat a lot of chocolate, not so much anymore and in fact I am not so much attracted to sweet things as I am to savoury things, but there are certain things that catch my attention.

They say that eating too much sweet is bad for your health, and indeed it is, but I think that in the right measure the body can control it, so that from time to time we can indulge ourselves.

And for this initiative I thought and thought and remembered that I do have a small collection of something to do with sweets and these are boxes containing sweets, and very tasty ones at that.

My favourite, sweet, little biscuits are the ones with chocolate chips in them, which oddly enough, I really like chocolate.

All of these boxes have been gifts containing goodies and I will now tell you what they are.

But not before mentioning that I love to collect three of these boxes, not only because they contained something sweet, but also because of the artistic decoration, the wonderful drawings and some of them in relief.

20240804_155449.jpg

First I'll start by talking about this adorable little box that still contains something. I haven't finished it yet.

The sweets are something very rare for me, I have never tasted anything like it before. They are candies made with violet flowers. When I tried the first candy I didn't know what I was going to find... flowers made candy, imagine that. But the truth is that they are delicious.

20240804_155313.jpg20240804_155535.jpg

The box, although simple, has a beautiful design in its presentation and the candies are rare and eye-catching.

20240804_155638.jpg20240804_155649.jpg

The second box I want to show you is a box containing chocolate, milk chocolate and caramel. A real treat. I love chocolates. I don't eat a lot of them, but I like one every now and then.

Besides, I really like the colour of the box in contrast to the design of the chocolates.

Of course this box no longer contains chocolates, but it has been reused, in fact, all the boxes you see today have another use, but it's top secret.

What can you imagine they have inside?

20240804_155719.jpg

20240804_155738.jpg20240804_155747.jpg

The third box was given to me by my aunt, it is an old box, and you can tell from the picture, of sweet or as they say here in Spain nata de membrillo.

Although I don't really like quince, the box does, it has a beautiful antique design, the drawings of this kind of boxes interest me for their artistic side. And in this case it contains a landscape where, it seems to me, there are quince trees or maybe they are lemons, I don't know, but far away from the city, like in a country house. I love that.

20240804_160231.jpg

The next two boxes contained some delicious, sweet and tasty biscuits, which, although they didn't have chocolate, did have some sugar on top.

One of the boxes is smaller than the other, but they both refer to the same type of biscuits.

What I like most about them are the drawings, as I said before, set at Christmas time, and yes, they were given to me for Christmas. Actually, it was a present for the family and we really enjoyed these sweets.

The boxes now contain other things and are very useful. The lower one I turned into a tea box and the second one contains make-up stuff.

20240804_160358.jpg

20240804_155825.jpg20240804_155833.jpg

The drawings and decorations, especially on the lids and on the contour of the biggest one, are embossed and that makes them different from other types of boxes.

20240804_160048.jpg20240804_160034.jpg

The motifs are beautiful, alluding to a beautiful time of the year, and within the same composition there are characters doing different tasks.

20240804_155924.jpg20240804_155934.jpg

20240804_155950.jpg

The colours also amaze me, the finish and the overall look are beautiful. On the other hand the utility they provide, as they can be reusable.

I hope this collection continues to grow, as it has just started and I like it a lot, you know, not only for the sweets, but also for the art.

I'll leave you with that question I asked earlier, to see if anyone can guess.

I loved sharing this little collection with all of you. I send you all a big hello and I'll see you next time.

What can you imagine they have inside?

Maybe sewing accessories (needles and threads) - at least I have these in the biscuit box similar to your one hahaha

Yay!!! A sweet collection of these boxes, all are perfect but the one with nata de membrillo is my favourite 🤩

Thank you very much for your contribution, @avdesing! 🍬🍭🍭🍭

They say that eating too much sweet is bad for your health

Well, that's it haha 😂

The truth is that they put a lot of effort into making these candy boxes, the drawing and colors are incredible, it is art, I would buy just for the box haha 😂

I can't decide which one I liked the most because they all have a theme that I love, so I'll keep them all 😍

Wow! You have an intriguing collection of cool boxes! As we have only one box at home (for sewing stuff, of course, 😅), I thought that there is only one type of these metal boxes... 😂
Now, I know that there are more of them... 😃

The old cookie and candy boxes have always caught my attention, many of them are real works of art and among your collection there are some really beautiful ones. Among all of them, there is one that has caught my attention which is the one nata de membrillo, it is a marvel.

Thank you for bringing us these metal jewels.

Un saludo @avdesing

Hello dear friend @avdesing good afternoon
What a beautiful collection of decorated cans you have, as a child I loved to see them.
This has reminded me of my grandmother, she had many of them.
I appreciate that you let us know these beautiful photographs of this beautiful collection

Your boxes are, I would say, wonderful.
A few days ago my daughter sent me a lot of chocolates of different types and when I saw your boxes I thought how good I could use a nice one like that to keep my chocolates. Of course, as much as I like them, they won't last long. Nice proposal. Thank you my friend for a nice week.🍥🍡🍫🍬🍭
