Girls' afternoon (EN-ES)

Greetings, dear friends. I hope you are well, in good health and well being.

Over here, we are preparing everything to say goodbye to this year 2023 as a family, I continue making hallacas for sale and for our New Year's dinner. Also, we have decided to make again the delicious ham bread that we cannot miss.

In the midst of so many busy schedules, it is sometimes difficult for the four members of this family to go out and buy the things we need for the holidays.

However, today, my daughter and I found a space and escaped for a girls' afternoon. Going out with Sofi is always a real treat because she takes me to see new places and, when it comes to shopping for us, she is an expert at getting cute things at the best prices. Her ability to discover real bargains and hidden treasures always adds a special touch to our moments together.

I love these mother-daughter moments that allow us to enjoy and share laughs, tastes, complicity and discoveries in clothing stores that blow our minds.

Por acá, estamos preparando todo para despedir este año 2023 en familia, yo sigo haciendo hallacas para la venta y para nuestra cena de Año Nuevo. También, hemos decidido volver a hacer el delicioso pan de jamón que no nos puede faltar.

En medio de tantas ocupaciones, a veces es complicado coincidir los cuatro miembros de esta familia para salir a comprar las cosas necesarias para los días festivos.

Sin embargo, hoy, mi hija y yo encontramos un espacio y nos escapamos para tener una tarde de chicas. Salir con Sofi siempre es un verdadero placer porque me lleva a conocer nuevos lugares y, cuando se trata de hacer compras para nosotras, ella es una experta en conseguir cosas lindas a los mejores precios. Su habilidad para descubrir auténticas gangas y tesoros escondidos siempre añade un toque especial a nuestros momentos juntas.

Amo estos momentos de madre e hija que nos permiten disfrutar y compartir risas, gustos, complicidades y descubrimientos en las tiendas de ropa que nos hacen alucinar.

After walking around one of the malls we like to go to, and finding part of what we were looking for, we took a break to have some ice cream at our favorite place: Crepes & Waffles.

This time I didn't order the Coffee and Hazelnut ice cream which is my favorite. Today, I wanted to try the Vanilla hot chocolate which I craved and it was love at first sight because it has almonds and old style vanilla ice cream. It also has whipped cream and hot chocolate, which is a delicious combination. From now on, this ice cream will be another of my favorites at Crepes & Waffles.

While we were enjoying the ice cream, we were talking about what we needed to buy and made plans to go to another mall to see what we could find.

With renewed energy, we decided to get an Uber and head to the next destination to continue our shopping. In this new mall, we got carried away by some irresistible temptations and ended up buying them.

Happy and proud of our purchases of the day, we returned home to rest after a lot of walking without rest.

It was a nice afternoon with my daughter, sharing experiences and strengthening the bonds of love that unite us.

Después de recorrer uno de los centros comerciales a los que nos gusta ir, y encontrar parte de lo que estábamos buscando, hicimos una pausa para tomarnos unos helados en nuestro lugar favorito: Crepes & Waffles.

Esta vez no pedí el helado de Café y avellana que es mi preferido. Hoy, quise probar el de Vainilla hot chocolate que se me antojó y fue amor a primera vista porque tiene almendras y helado de vainilla old style. Además, lleva crema chantilly y chocolate caliente, lo cual es una combinación deliciosa. Desde ya, este helado será otro de mis favoritos en Crepes & Waffles.

Mientras disfrutábamos de los helados, estuvimos conversando sobre lo que nos faltaba comprar e hicimos planes para irnos a otro centro comercial a ver que cosas podíamos encontrar.

Con las energías renovadas, decidimos pedir un Uber y dirigirnos al siguiente destino para continuar con nuestras compras. En este nuevo centro comercial, nos dejamos llevar por algunas tentaciones irresistibles y terminamos comprándolas.

Felices y orgullosas de nuestras compras del día, regresamos a casa para descansar después de mucho caminar sin descanso.

Fue una linda tarde junto a mi hija, compartiendo vivencias y fortaleciendo los lazos de amor que nos unen.
