Shadow on my noodle
It has been while since my last post on shadow hunter, how are you guys? Things are pretty much the same lately after my grandma passed away in early March in Canada, fortunately I already walked away from the sorrow.
Now I am only focusing on my job as business is picking up however company never fill the shortage of head count since one of member in my team resigned back in Oct 2022, that’s why I bloody busy with daily work there.
Okay, back to the subject that I want to share to you guys, recently both Hong Kong and Canton province at mainland China got very heavy rain, I didn’t walk too far from office for lunch, then the only choice for me is the shopping mall downstairs.
They have got McDonald, UCC cafe, Starbucks, a Japanese noodle shop, a Chinese cafe x 2, and one Dim Sum restaurant, that’s all.
I already went to the Chinese cafe for a Chinese barbecue rice on Thursday so it wasn’t on my list for Friday lunch, and i ain’t go to the dim sum restaurant alone, the Japanese noodle is my only choice though.
As said, it was raining very heavy, expect many people would just go to the restaurants in the mall for lunch instead of walking too far away from the office. It will be crowded, I sneaked out 5 mins earlier than the normal lunch hour as i do, so I could get a table easily still.
I ordered a pork noodle and hot coffee, oh yeah. I made minor change on my dining habit, I get rid of the ice / cold drink for a month and I can feel the change, my hand and feet no longer cold now, sounds the Chinese practitioner advise works. I don’t really want to take the Chinese herb medicine anymore even though I gotta to visit there one more time, but I tell myself it’s gotta be my last time to go Chinese practitioner and taking herb medicine!
Then I suddenly noticed that there’s a nice shadow on my noodle on the soup of noodle and also the light tube reflection on my coffee, I will regret if I don’t capture this moment to share you guys.
My wife is having fun at Zhuhai with his brother right now, probably she would have some nice shadow or reflection pictures to share, if she does, I will come back and share to you guys as well. See ya next time, cheers.
I am very sorry to read about the death of your grandmother dear friend @atyh
It's good that you are doing very well at work, and that you don't have to walk far at lunchtime.
I loved the shadows you took on the plates
have a great weekend
