Mass indoctrination Day 9 on 16/9/2022

Good day everyone. Hope we are all doing great. Am Sis Atuma Hope and am doing this post to share my lessons from the mass Indoctrination Day 9 on the 16/9/22.

HIGHLIGHTS OF MAIN POINTS FROM THE TEACHING
(1) When we gather as christians, we are to provoke one another unto love and good works and we are not to forsake the gathering of the brethren as some do- Hebrews 10:25
(2) Giving of offering isn't the primary purpose of the christian gathering but to exhort one another, study the word of God , observed the brethren to see if any is in need or lack, etc. So, we shouldn't be discouraged from going to the house of God even if we don't have offering to give.
(3) When we gather, we are to have a sense of care and a sense of concern. We should be able to watch amongst us to see if any brethren is in need.
(4) Everyone in the house of God should ve treated equally. there should not be discrimination in the house of God. everyone is equal in the sight of God. Both the rich and poor are all created by God- James 2:1.
(5) In the christian gathering, there is a program and the studying of the word of God is the major activity in the christian gathering. In Acts 20:7, When the brethrens gathered, Saint Paul preached to the brethrens till it was midnight. We should spend more time in studying the word of God as we are already in the end time.
(6) Singing is one of the activity in the house of God. Singing is very important in the christian gathering. Singing brings joy to the heart. Singing originated from God. Singing is older than the earth. In Job 38:4, we saw here that the angels sang declaring His greatness for the things He has created. While the angels were on earth, during the birth of Jesus (Luke 2:7-14), they sang too. The entire hosts of heaven are singing too.
(7) According to Colossians 3:16,in the christian gathering, when we sing,we are to sing to God and not to any other.
(8) There are songs of deliverance according to Psalms 32 : 7. In 1 Samuel 16:23, Saul was possesed with evil spirit and David sang and he was delivered of the evil spirits.
(9) We are to offer praise to God continually-Hebrews 13:5. It's a good thing to sing praises to God-Psalm 92:1-3 and when singing,we can use musical instruments too
(10) Worshipping God isn't restricted to a particular day. we can worship God at any time. The early Christians worshiped on every day of the week-John 20:19.

SOME TRUTHS I HAVE COME TO KNOW
(1) Giving of offering isn't the most important purpose of going to church but that when we gather, we should be able to exhort one another and provoke one another unto love and good works.
(2) The word of God should be thoroughly studied in the gathering as it was in the time of the Apostles. It should not just be read or cited but to deeply studied.
(3) Worshipping God isn't restricted to only Sundays or Saturdays as some believe, we saw from the teaching that we can worship God at any time of the week and it's not restricted to any particular place too.
(4) Worship is only exclusive to God when we gather and not to any other not even a statue.
